    Brand Manager

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • End-to-end champion of the post-sale ad campaign creation and execution process.
    • Work with clients and Account Executives to understand campaign goals and objectives.
    • Offer creative recommendations, based on best practices, and seek innovative solutions for custom campaigns to improve outcomes.
    • Coordinate creative submissions and gather creative assets from client all over the Nigeria - and all over the world.
    • Build strong direct relationships with co-creative partners, act as point person for customer questions and concerns, and deliver superior and professional support.
    • Work with design, copy and production across the entire Company network to produce compelling promotional campaigns that blow away our client's expectations.
    • Represent S&B team and partner interests at internal creative review meetings.
    • Leverage workflow tools as well as meetings to hand off complete assets and insertion order details to Ad Operations for trafficking.
    • Set timelines and manage expectations with all internal and external constituencies.
    • Analyze and report campaign performance to Account Team.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • First degree with 3-5 years of experience including 2 years of account/partnership management or business development experience.
    • Solid history of relationship growth successes.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to carefully manage expectations across constituencies.
    • A love of meeting - and beating – deadlines.
    • Experience trafficking campaigns.
    • High attention to detail, highly organized and efficient.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks without supervision.
    • Strong teamwork and cross-functional coordination is a key for success.
    • Excellence analytically with technical, contractual and financial issues.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, constantly evolving team environment.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office, online advertising and associated tools.

    Traffic Manager

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage all of the trafficking/scheduling/routing of projects from inception to completion.
    • Meet with the heads of departments to learn about the status of existing projects, and details about new projects coming into the agency.
    • Create a schedule for new jobs and assign those tasks using the trafficking system in place (this is usually done with software).
    • Review current and future timelines and job statuses with the heads of department, and if necessary, the individuals working on the jobs.
    • Direct the workflow to and from internal marketing communications teams.
    • Partner with Creatives, Account Managers and overall team to ensure projects are completed on time and deadlines are met
    • Act as the liaison between multiple departments, including client services, creatives, production, media planning and third-party vendors and management personnel.
    • Ensure every job that comes into the agency must flow through the required departments on time.
    • Create detailed schedules, set deadlines at each stage of the project.
    • Reschedule projects based on new or changing priorities. This often happens when clients initiate rush jobs, or the agency becomes involved in a pitch
    • Make sure that work is distributed equally and fairly between creative teams and other departments.
    • Monitor the creative process, often with the help of a trafficking system, and make adjustments accordingly.
    • Control Creative Project or Marketing campaign.
    • Set deadlines and check on the accuracy of each ad before it appears in a publication, on the radio, on television or on the Internet.
    •     Report to management about the current workflow, and communicate any possible issues with too much, or too little, work coming into the agency.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • This position requires a minimum of 5-7 years advertising agency traffic experience.
    • Candidate must have demonstrated experience handling high volumes, multiple projects and multiple accounts.
    • Experience in both on- and offline advertising is preferred.
    • Candidate must have outstanding written and oral communications skills.
    • Excellent organizational and documentation skills are required.

    Agency Producer

    The Agency Producer is responsible for creative development, budgeting, negotiating with the production company, music and artist contracts, post-production and getting copy to stations.

    Duties

    • Work closely with the Executive creative director in terms of understanding the ECD’s vision and expectations for TV and radio production.
    • Have a solid understanding of all elements of print production
    • Be able to cost jobs and effectively mark those jobs up.
    • Be responsible for briefing suppliers on what is required for a particular job.
    • Assess supplier quotes
    • Work with finance to finalize Cost Estimates to clients.
    • Oversee all aspects of the production of a job with suppliers
    • Quality control
    • Find effective ways of saving money for the agency in the process of production
    • Effect managing production vendors
    • Identify and negotiating with preferential suppliers in conjunction with the finance department.
    • Have a strong relationship with the traffic department in terms on meeting deadlines and managing the flow of work
    • All contractual issues relating to production will be the responsibility of the production manager in conjunction with the Chief Financial Officer / Head of Finance.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with production of high-end elements, on-air promotions and marketing projects for radio and TVCs.
    • Responsible for producing short form features that are editorially exciting, timely, and presented in a manner that is consistent with the tone of the features.
    • Assist in the development of look and feel of radio jingles and telecasts, marketing, and an-air promotions.
    • Responsible for developing and creating new story lines and effective methods of presenting that story.
    • Organizes and manages incoming highlights and features regarding the campaign elements of radio jingles and TVCs.
    • Coordinate the activities of writers, directors, managers, actors, and other personnel throughout the production process
    • Co-ordinate various aspects of production including script writing, editing, audio, camera work, and music.
    • Guide the development of standards to ensure production elements and assets reflect the brand or theme concept.
    • Monitor post-production processes to ensure accurate completion of details.
    • Conduct meetings with staff to discuss production progress and check-ins to ensure production objectives goals are met

    Requirements:

    • A University degree
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in production and post-production
    • A working knowledge of Final Cut editing systems
    • Strong writing skills with good storytelling ability.
    • Good creative instincts and knowledgeable about radio and television innovation and technology.
    • A familiarity of advertising and an understanding of promotions and marketing; and must have the ability to work as a team
