    Finance Specialist - Head Office

    Job Purpose:

    This role ensures that all accounts payable activities comply with relevant financial policies and procedures.

    Responsibilities:

    • Post invoices and credit notes and ensure that they are posted correctly on the system
    • Investigate and resolve outstanding creditor items
    • Process payment runs - Identify due invoices and process payment on the system
    • Archiving all payment’s instruments/voucher
    • Matching and reconciliation of vendors’ accounts
    • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring adherence to financial regulations.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely payments and resolve disputes efficiently.
    • Ensure proper tax deductions, VAT processing, and compliance with local financial regulations.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline accounts payable processes through automation and efficiency improvements.
    • Monitor payment schedules to optimize cash flow and avoid late fees or penalties.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • University degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting or any other related field.
    • Minimum of 1-3 years working experience in a similar role.
    • Knowledge of NAV Dynamics or any other ERP software and Microsoft Excel
    • Membership of ICAN, or ACA is an added advantage.

    Sustainability Manager, Agbara

    Job Purpose

    The Sustainability Manager is part of the sustainability team and will contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of sustainability strategies for Betaglass /Frigoglass. This role ensures the organization’s operations comply with Nigerian environmental laws and global best practices, while driving positive social, environmental, and economic impact. The position requires strong stakeholder engagement with government bodies if applicable, internal audit committees, communities, and industry partners to advance sustainability objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement sustainability strategies, policies, and initiatives that align with Nigerian regulations (e.g., NESREA, EIA Act) and international standards
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, social, and governance (ESG) requirements in Nigeria, including reporting and documentation for regulatory agencies
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in environmental performance, resource efficiency, and waste management
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, supply chain, marketing) to integrate sustainability into business processes and product life cycles
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies (NESREA, SON, NAFDAC), NGOs, local communities, and industry associations
    • Support with the implementation of community development and social responsibility initiatives in line with local needs and company objectives
    • Oversee sustainability data collection, analysis, and reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability in disclosing performance metrics and progress
    • Provide training and guidance to employees to foster a culture of environmental responsibility and compliance with Nigerian and international standards
    • Monitor emerging sustainability trends, policies, and technologies relevant to Nigeria, and incorporate them into organizational strategy
    • Represent the organization in sustainability forums, regulatory meetings, and industry groups as required

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related field
    • Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in sustainability management, ESG, or corporate social responsibility
    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian environmental laws, ESG frameworks, and sustainability reporting standards
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills
    • Professional certifications are an advantage
    • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects

    Business Intelligence Manager - Head Office

    Job Purpose

    Formulate and implement a business intelligence roadmap for the company by exploiting market research and intelligence gathering, analysing available data and developing a business intelligence mindset within the team. Using deeper knowledge gained from business intelligence, this role will enable us to continuously redefine product value propositions to help drive business development, ensure market competitiveness, and both short- and long-term profitable market share growth.

    Responsibilities:

    • Quickly develop a strong knowledge of the company’s products and services in order to identify new business opportunities
    • Investigate new opportunities to increase our market share with existing customers or widen our customer base, both domestically and in export markets.
    • Provide ongoing (dynamic) analysis of market conditions and competitor activity to the company management and Sales team to keep them informed about the market trends in the form of monthly briefing to management and the Sales team.
    • Work closely with the Sales & Operations team to implement processes for new business development for both domestic and export markets, enhance commercial effectiveness and ensure delivery of customer value by expanding market knowledge.
    • Provide insights to the organization through consumer price monitoring and analysis to achieve data driven product and commercial business decisions.
    • Utilize inputs from various industries, consumers, and customer intelligence to develop an in-depth understanding of industry trends, key business drivers and key companies, to ensure the organization remains focused and updated. 
    • Create presentations with sourced information and share with the business for decision making and provide accurate and timely information to management
    • Participate in the preparation of commercial proposals and sales presentations as needed.
    • Segment the range of products and monitor SKU and product segment profitability in cooperation with Sales & Finance, monitoring the company’s targets and customer expectations.
    • Work closely with Sales to support overall customer engagement & relationship development to promote collaboration & sales growth.
    • Anticipate market trends and identify customer needs to create a marketing brief serving to guide business development.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing, Business Administration, Business Intelligence, or other related fields
    • 7-10 years’ experience in a similar role.
    • Excellent English communication (verbal and written).
    • Extensive experience in researching, analzying and maintaining databases.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision or any other Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
    • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and ability to produce captivating PowerPoint presentations.
    • Strong analytical and numerical ability required, plus ability to prioritize and produce accurate works
    • Must be a genuine team player as success in the role depends on collaboration with other team members.

    Mechanical Structural Project Supervisor, Agbara

    Job purpose

    The role oversees project planning, designing, execution, supervision and documentation alongside plant utility installations and maintenance for optimal performance.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee all civil, structural and mechanical projects to achieve quality
    • Conduct detailed structural analysis and simulations to ensure the integrity and reliability of designs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, production, quality control) to ensure seamless integration of components.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
    • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet objectives.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date engineering documentation, including design specifications, calculations, and drawings.
    • Identify and mitigate potential resource constraints to ensure project continuity.
    • Ensure safe work practice on every project activity initiated by the Project session.
    • Implement all requirements of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and any other relevant management systems.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical, Civil / Structural engineering or any other related fields
    • 4- 6 years’ experience in a similar role
    • Knowledge of AutoCAD and other design related software
    • Versatile in Primavera, MS Project
    • Proficient in equipment installation and maintenance
    • Use of Microsoft offices - Excel, Words and PowerPoint
    • Good communication skills - oral and written
    • Time management and report writing skills
    • Problem solving and strategic thinking skills
