    Patient Support

    Department: Medical Affairs
    Reports to: Clinical Lead

    Essential Functions

    • Provide clinical and emotional support for patients referred/requesting genetics counselling
    • Provide educational information for patients relevant to services offered at 54gene
    • Keep up to date with the literature and relevant information in relation to services offered
    • Participate in training programmes relevant to job description
    • Supporting role for marketing diagnostics services to potential clients where needed.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc in Psychology or MBBS
    • Additional training in counseling advantageous.
    • Candidates must be willing to join a dynamic environment, willing to learn quickly, and have a strong clinical background.
    • Candidates will be required to be flexible and possess excellent communication skills.

    Experience:

    • Prior professional experience in an academic and/or life science setting
    • At least 3 years of post graduate work experience in related fields.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Confidentiality – Maintain patient, team member and employer confidentiality. Comply with all HIPAA regulations.
    • Adequate clinical knowledge and application of diagnostics in disease areas such as oncology, fertility, prenatal screening.
    • Clinical application and interpretation of  microbiology and clinical chemistry tests
    • Basic knowledge of genomics
    • Ability to communicate efficiently, with empathy, in a non-judgemental manner and quickly adapt style of communication to suit situation

    • Facilitate Speaker Trainings and SEE meetings

    Requirements

    Research Clinical Associate

    Department: Medical Affairs
    Reports to: Clinical Lead

    Essential Functions

    • Provide optimal clinical support to the research team in all relevant areas
    • Conceptualize and write research protocols including but not limited the development of clinical work plans
    • Review and analyze clinical data to support hypothesis and draw accurate conclusions
    • Write medical articles with accuracy and proficiency
    • Provide support to the Data Quality control team as needed
    • Liaise with internal and external physicians to support on research projects
    • Conduct feasibility studies to ascertain the desired outcomes for proposed studies
    • Fulfil role as project manager as the need arises
    • Supporting role for clinical tasks that may arise in laboratory or company-wide.

    Requirements

    • MBBS (At least 3 years post medical school) 
    • MBA, MPH, PhD, or other relevant Postgraduate degree is a plus
    • 3+ years of multidisciplinary experience in areas such as management consulting, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or other related industry
    • Project management experience and certification e.g. Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, is a plus.

    Treasury Sales

    Job Summary

    • The job holder will play a vital role in helping the organization make the correct financial decisions and ensure that the financial assets of the company are used appropriately. This may include making recommendations for proper utilization of the cash reserves, reviewing cash flow, and analyzing financial transactions.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Manages treasury function, including meeting short and long-term funding needs.
    • Develops financial forecasts and monitoring financial health around financial commitments.
    • Oversee the investment portfolio of the organization.
    • Source for additional funding transaction from both the existing and new counter parties.
    • Manage hedging program for foreign exchange and interest rates.
    • Execute the investment strategy consistent within the approved parameters and regulatory guidelines.
    • Provide guidance on acceptable investment instruments and financial institutions
    • Managing banking and other financial institutions relationship.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 4 years of cognate experience in Finance and Treasury operations.
    • Proficient with Microsoft office products, with expert capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint
    • Finance related Professional Qualification is an added advantage.
    • Ability to work cross functionally to drive business initiatives
    • Ability to develop processes, policies, procedures and systems into value-add commercially focused solutions for the organization
    • Possess a thorough understanding of key investments strategies for capital allocation, financial modelling and valuation metrics
