Job Description

• Oversees the safe and efficient operation, maintenance and repair of the engine room machinery and equipment onboard designated vessel.
• Performs troubleshooting, problem solving as well as preventative and corrective maintenance to prevent down time and to ensure the efficient and continual functioning of the vessel.

Requirements

• Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• III/2 license required.
• Additional Marine Engineering qualification/certification is a plus.

• Supports the Chief Engineer in ensuring safe and efficient operation, maintenance and repair of the engine room machinery and equipment onboard designated vessel.
• Performs troubleshooting, problem solving as well as preventative and corrective maintenance to prevent down time and to ensure the efficient and continual functioning of the vessel under the supervision of the Chief Engineer.

Job Description

• Manage all fabrication (including welding) activities in the workshop, vessels, tugs and barges to achieve set targets and to ensure specific welding procedures and guidelines are implemented in compliance with company QHSES policies/programs (STOP, Risk Assessment).

Requirements

• ND,HND or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Welding Engineering.
• 7 - 12 years relevant work experience in related field, with minimum 5 years in Supervisory level.
• Fabrication experience in shipyard is added advantage.
