    Product Design Lead

As the Product Design Lead at Chowdeck, you will lead product design across our customer, vendor, operations and trust products. You will be responsible for design quality, growing the team, our research practice, our design system, and how designers work with every other function.

This is a player-coach role. You will lead and develop designers and build stronger systems, while still rolling up your sleeves on important product problems whenever the team needs senior design judgement.

You will report to the Product Executive and coordinate dependencies with other functional teams. You will lead the central Product Design function and help shape how designers are assigned as the organisation grows.

    What you will own

    • The quality and coherence of Chowdeck’s product experiences across customer and internal surfaces.
    • The product design team, including hiring, coaching, performance support and allocation across product teams.
    • Product design principles, critique standards and decision quality.
    • The design system and reusable interaction patterns across our products.
    • The product research practice and the quality of evidence behind design decisions.
    • Design operations, including planning, documentation, file organisation and cross-functional collaboration.

In this role you’ll be required to:

    • Set a clear product design vision and turn it into practical standards for the team.
    • Coach designers through discovery, interaction design, prototyping, validation and delivery.
    • Run critiques that make the work better and help designers sharpen their judgement.
    • Partner with functional leads to shape problems early, not just review interfaces at the end.
    • Build and maintain the design system with clear ownership and adoption expectations.
    • Improve how customer research and operational insight feed into product decisions.
    • Plan design capacity, spot hiring needs and make sure priority teams get the right level of support.
    • Collaborate with other design disciplines while keeping clear ownership of the product experience.

    What success looks like

    • Product teams get consistent, high-quality design support and bring Design in early enough to shape decisions.
    • Designers have clear expectations, useful feedback and visible paths to grow.
    • Shared patterns cut down on inconsistency and repeated design work across products.
    • Research and usability evidence genuinely shape prioritisation and product decisions.
    • The design team can support more product areas without lowering quality or burning people out.
    • Chowdeck’s product experiences stay simple and coherent as the company expands.

You’re perfect for the role if you have:

    • At least 6–7 years of product design experience, including at least 2 years leading, managing or mentoring product designers and raising the quality of a design team.
    • Strong experience designing complex mobile and web products, with a portfolio that shows your process and decisions.
    • Strong interaction, systems and visual-design judgement.
    • Experience partnering closely with other functions from discovery through launch.
    • The ability to move between strategic direction, detailed critique and hands-on design as needed.
    • Clear communication, empathy, high standards and the ability to give direct, useful feedback.

    Bonus points if you have:

    • Experience designing for marketplaces, commerce, logistics, fintech or operational tools.
    • Experience establishing or scaling a design system.
    • Experience building a research practice or improving design operations in a growing company.

Beyond the paycheck, Chowdeck employees get:

    • MacBook for your work
    • Smart, kind colleagues invested in your growth
    • Opportunities for rapid career progression
    • Lunch allowance
    • Ride credits for transport

    Junior Product Manager

As a Junior Product Manager at Chowdeck, you will contribute across our product organisation. This is a general role rather than a hire for one fixed team, so depending on business needs and your strengths, you could be assigned to any of our product areas.

You will work alongside an experienced Product Lead and a cross-functional team. We’re looking for someone who is curious, organised, comfortable with detail and eager to build strong product judgement.

You will report to a Product Lead or the Product Executive, and you may move between product teams as our priorities change. We’ll give you the context and support you need, and we’ll expect you to take on more ownership as your judgement grows.

    What you will own

    • Clearly defined product problems or workstreams within your assigned team.
    • Product documentation, requirements, decisions and follow-up for the work you support.
    • Coordination with cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Quality checks, launch readiness and post-launch learning for your initiatives.
    • A growing understanding of our users, business goals and the operational systems behind Chowdeck.

In this role you’ll be required to:

    • Speak with users and internal teams to understand their problems, and document what you learn.
    • Support product discovery, write clear briefs or requirements, and keep decisions up to date.
    • Work with cross-functional partners to pin down scope, edge cases and acceptance criteria.
    • Track delivery, flag blockers early and help the team get ready for launches.
    • Test products before release and follow up on issues after launch.
    • Use product data, support feedback and operational insight to judge whether a change worked.
    • Communicate progress and trade-offs clearly, and ask for help before a problem turns into a surprise.

    What success looks like

    • Your team can rely on your documentation, follow-through and communication.
    • You independently own small, well-defined initiatives from problem definition through launch and learning.
    • You understand the users, operations and metrics of your product area.
    • You catch important edge cases and risks before they become production problems.
    • Your product judgement and ability to take on bigger problems grow steadily.

You’re perfect for the role if you have:

    • At least 1 year of relevant experience in product management, or in an adjacent role involving structured problem-solving and cross-functional delivery.
    • Strong written communication and the ability to organise complex information clearly.
    • Curiosity about how products work, and a willingness to speak directly with users and internal teams.
    • Comfort with data and the ability to use evidence when forming a view.
    • Attention to detail, reliability and a strong sense of ownership.
    • The ability to learn quickly, take feedback well and thrive in a changing environment.

    Bonus points if you have:

    • Experience contributing to a digital product or operational process.
    • Familiarity with product analytics, user research, QA, design tools or technical concepts.
    • Experience in commerce, logistics, fintech or marketplaces.

    Product Lead, Trust and Compliance

As the Product Lead, Trust and Compliance at Chowdeck, you will own the product systems behind KYC, fraud detection, investigation and containment across customers, vendors, riders, agents, wallets, payments and payouts.

Today, fraud and compliance problems can stretch across several teams and systems. Your job is to bring them together under one clear product strategy: one that improves visibility, makes it safe to act quickly, and closes recurring loopholes without putting unreasonable friction on the legitimate people who use Chowdeck every day.

You will report to the Product Executive and coordinate dependencies with other functional teams and external partners. You don’t need to be a lawyer, but you must be able to work precisely with legal, regulatory and financial-risk requirements.

    What you will own

    • KYC product journeys and verification coverage across customers, vendors, riders and agents.
    • Fraud visibility, including case records, monitoring signals, alerts and investigation access.
    • Containment capabilities such as account freezes, payout holds, blocked payment details and reward reversals.
    • The product process for fraud severity, response expectations, evidence preservation and case close-out.
    • The recurring-loophole register, and coordinating product fixes across teams.
    • Trust and compliance readiness for new products and markets.

In this role you’ll be required to:

    • Set the product strategy and roadmap for KYC, fraud visibility and containment.
    • Work with the relevant stakeholders to turn policy and regulatory requirements into product experiences people can actually use.
    • Partner with engineering and data teams to turn known fraud patterns into monitors, alerts and validated automated controls.
    • Work with internal teams and external partners to improve containment, freezes, recalls and recovery.
    • Define measures for internal detection, time to detect, time to contain, loss exposure, recovery and impact on legitimate users.
    • Make sure investigators have the evidence and access they need, while keeping sensitive information protected.
    • Coordinate root-cause fixes across product areas and escalate open risks with clear recommendations.

    What success looks like

    • KYC requirements and outstanding verification gaps are visible and actively managed.
    • More fraud cases are caught internally before victims or partners report them.
    • High-risk activity can be contained quickly through controlled, auditable actions.
    • Investigations preserve evidence and follow consistent severity, escalation and close-out rules.
    • Alert quality improves without overwhelming investigators or repeatedly blocking legitimate users.
    • Recurring product loopholes have owners, target dates and verified fixes.

You’re perfect for the role if you have:

    • At least 6 years of product management experience, including work in fintech, payments, identity, fraud, risk or compliance.
    • A track record of turning risk or policy requirements into product capabilities and operating processes.
    • Strong judgement when balancing prevention, customer friction, operational workload and financial exposure.
    • Comfort working with sensitive data, investigations and cross-functional stakeholders.
    • The ability to work closely with engineering and data partners on monitoring and automation.
    • Clear written communication and disciplined documentation habits.

    Bonus points if you have:

    • Experience with KYC providers, device intelligence, payments monitoring or transaction risk.
    • Experience working with payment partners, banks, regulators or law enforcement processes.
    • Experience launching trust or compliance products across multiple countries.

    Product Lead, Quick Commerce

As the Product Lead, Quick Commerce at Chowdeck, you will own Quick Commerce across Chowstore, Shops and Local Markets. You will be responsible for the shopping experience customers have in these categories, and for the operating systems behind it: inventory, availability, picking, fulfilment and store operations.

This role needs equal attention to customers and to physical operations. Growth only counts when stock is accurate, orders can be picked reliably, and store teams can keep up without unsustainable manual work.

You will report to the Product Executive and lead the Quick Commerce domain, coordinating dependencies with other functional teams, including the shared capabilities that power Chowdeck’s ordering experience.

    What you will own

    • The Quick Commerce product strategy across Chowstore, Shops and Local Markets.
    • Category-specific discovery, basket-building and shopping experiences.
    • The end-to-end dark-store inventory flow, from intake and counts to availability, adjustments and reconciliation.
    • Picking, substitution, order readiness and fulfilment support.
    • Product direction for the Chowstore mobile experience.
    • The product and operational foundations needed to expand Quick Commerce safely.

In this role you’ll be required to:

    • Build and maintain one prioritised roadmap across customer shopping and store operations.
    • Work directly with operations teams to understand how physical work maps to product workflows.
    • Coordinate shared discovery, cart, checkout and completed-order capabilities with the relevant product teams.
    • Define the inventory source of truth and make ownership clear at every stage of the stock lifecycle.
    • Lead product discovery, experience design, technical planning, launch and iteration.
    • Balance growth with stock accuracy, picking quality, waste, shrinkage, refunds and operational workload.
    • Make clear go, revise or pause calls when an expansion or product surface isn’t operationally ready.

    What success looks like

    • Customers can build and complete bigger, more complex baskets with less friction.
    • What customers see as available in the app matches what’s actually on the shelf.
    • Stock-related cancellations, substitutions and refunds go down, or stay under control as demand grows.
    • Store teams receive, count, adjust, reconcile and pick inventory more consistently.
    • Quick Commerce expansion decisions are backed by customer, operational, financial and technical evidence.

You’re perfect for the role if you have:

    • At least 6 years of product management experience, including work on commerce, retail technology, inventory or fulfilment products.
    • A track record of owning both customer-facing and operational product problems.
    • The ability to turn physical workflows into simple, reliable digital systems.
    • Strong analytical and product judgement, including comfort working with imperfect operational data.
    • Experience leading cross-functional work across product, design, engineering and operations.
    • Clear communication and the confidence to make difficult scope and sequencing decisions.

    Bonus points if you have:

    • Experience with dark stores, inventory management, procurement, picking or replenishment.
    • Experience building mobile commerce or grocery products.
    • Experience launching new store locations or markets.

Beyond the paycheck, Chowdeck employees get:

    • Competitive salary
    • Full medical coverage
    • MacBook Pro for your work

As the Product Lead, Vendor Ops at Chowdeck, you will own the products and workflows our vendors rely on to run their businesses with us, and the tools our teams use to keep live operations running smoothly. This covers vendor onboarding and management, business tools, order operations, Ads, wallets and other vendor financial workflows, all with the right financial, risk and compliance controls in place.

This role sits where product, operations and revenue meet. You will need to understand how work actually happens on the ground, cut out unnecessary manual steps, and balance commercial growth with vendor trust and order reliability.

You will report to the Product Executive and lead a cross-functional product team, coordinating dependencies with other functional teams and working closely with internal and external partners.

    What you will own

    • The vendor-facing product experience, including the Vendor Business App and Dashboard.
    • Vendor onboarding, store management, catalogue workflows and priority self-service capabilities.
    • Ads product strategy, advertiser value and sustainable monetisation.
    • Vendor wallets, payouts, lending and the financial, risk and compliance controls around them.
    • Product improvements that reduce friction across vendor, rider, agent and live-order operations.
    • Vendor and operational readiness for new cities and countries.

In this role you’ll be required to:

    • Set the product strategy and maintain one prioritised roadmap across vendor and operational needs.
    • Spend time with vendors and operations teams to understand where product gaps create manual work, delays or lost revenue.
    • Grow Ads in partnership with the relevant teams while protecting advertiser value and the customer experience.
    • Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver reliable wallet, payout and lending experiences with the right controls.
    • Lead discovery, scoping, delivery and post-launch improvement with cross-functional partners.
    • Judge impact using adoption, operational effort, order reliability, revenue and partner feedback.
    • Bring clear recommendations when priorities or risks call for a change to the roadmap.

    What success looks like

    • Vendors can complete more priority workflows without needing operations or engineering to step in.
    • The Vendor Business App and Dashboard become dependable tools vendors come back to again and again.
    • Ads revenue grows without undermining advertiser value or customer trust.
    • Wallet, payout and lending experiences run reliably, with clear permissions and controls.
    • Vendor and live-order problems are spotted early, prioritised consistently and fixed at the root.
    • New-market requirements are documented and delivered without leaving long-term operational workarounds behind.

You’re perfect for the role if you have:

    • At least 6 years of product management experience, including significant ownership of B2B, marketplace, fintech or operational products.
    • A track record of leading products used by businesses or internal operations teams.
    • Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to balance revenue, reliability, risk and user experience.
    • Comfort working across commercial, operational, financial and technical areas.
    • The ability to turn scattered requests into reusable product capabilities rather than one-off fixes.
    • Clear communication, strong ownership and sound judgement under pressure.

    Bonus points if you have:

    • Experience with merchant tools, advertising products, wallets, payouts or lending.
    • Experience improving operational workflows through self-service and automation.

    Product Lead, Consumer

As the Product Lead, Consumer at Chowdeck, you will own the experience every customer has with us, from the moment they open the app to discover what to order, through browsing vendors, building a cart, checking out and paying, to tracking their order and completing it.

You will lead a cross-functional product team and turn business goals, customer needs and operational realities into a clear roadmap. This is a domain leadership role. We expect you to make decisions, create alignment and stay close to delivery, not simply pass requests between teams.

You will report to the Product Executive and work alongside other Product Leads as a peer. You will lead through clarity and influence, and as the team grows, you may manage Product Managers of your own.

    What you will own

    • The end-to-end customer ordering experience across Chowdeck’s consumer products.
    • Customer discovery, conversion, ordering reliability and overall experience improvements.
    • Product’s contribution to the company’s retention goals.
    • Customer-facing readiness for launches in new cities and countries.
    • Product requirements for seasonal campaigns and high-volume periods, without letting campaign work weaken the core experience.
    • The shared ordering capabilities used across all our product categories.

In this role you’ll be required to:

    • Set the product strategy and maintain a prioritised roadmap for the Consumer team.
    • Use customer research, product data, support feedback and operational insight to find the most important problems to solve.
    • Work with cross-functional partners to take problems from discovery through launch, measurement and iteration.
    • Define clear outcomes and guardrails for conversion, retention, reliability and customer delight.
    • Coordinate dependencies with other functional teams.
    • Make explicit trade-offs when new requests compete with committed work.
    • Communicate progress, risks, decisions and learnings clearly to leadership and partner teams.

    What success looks like

    • Your team has a clear strategy and roadmap tied to customer and business outcomes.
    • Customers can discover, order and complete transactions reliably as our volume and geographic coverage grow.
    • Priority customer journeys improve without pushing problems into cancellations, refunds, support contacts or unprofitable demand.
    • Retention initiatives have defined product contributions and are reviewed with the relevant teams.
    • New-market and campaign work ships with clear scope, ownership and post-launch learning.

You’re perfect for the role if you have:

    • At least 6 years of product management experience, including significant ownership of consumer-facing mobile or web products at meaningful scale.
    • A track record of setting product direction, prioritising across competing needs and leading cross-functional delivery.
    • Strong judgement across customer experience, business value, operational complexity and technical constraints.
    • Comfort using both quantitative and qualitative evidence, without reducing product success to a single metric.
    • Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain your decisions and trade-offs.
    • A high level of ownership and a willingness to stay close to customers and operational reality.

    Bonus points if you have:

    • Experience in marketplaces, delivery, commerce, mobility or another high-frequency consumer product.

Operations Associates make sure vendors, riders, and agents are set up for success every day. You’ll handle the bulk of operational tasks, data checks, and system follow-ups that keep everything running smoothly.

In this role you'll be required to:

    • Act as the first line of response for requests in your assigned zone, routing issues to the right owners when needed.
    • Monitor dashboards and communication channels to quickly identify, prioritize and respond to operational issues in your assigned zone.
    • Support the operational readiness and performance of riders, vendors and agents through onboarding, training, scheduling and routine checks.
    • Manage order exceptions and escalations to ensure timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.
    • Handle routine operational queries and issues, escalating sensitive or priority matters to the Assistant Zonal Manager.
    • Coordinate operational resources and assets in partnership with zonal leadership.
    • Work closely with the Assistant Zonal Manager to bring up improvement opportunities and support their implementation

You’re perfect for the Operations Associate role if you:

    • Graduated with a 1st class or 2:1 from a reputable university.
    • Are hungry, competitive, and willing to put in the long hours needed to succeed in a high-growth startup.
    • Have strong problem-solving skills and can think quickly on your feet.
    • Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks at once.
    • Communicate clearly and confidently, whether with teammates, agents, riders, or vendors.
    • Have a great attitude, willingness to learn, and resilience to keep going when things get tough.
