    ESG Manager

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Run the ESG help desk for ARM Group, to form part of the shared services grouping for the business.Provide technical support to ARM Holding Company Limited and its subsidiaries in implementing ESG practices in their investment and lending activities;
    • Contribute to the analysis of emerging ESG trends and regulations/standards and their potential impact an overall ESG perspective of the company and its subsidiaries;
    • Work closely with investor relations to compile the company’s ESG performance. This will include the annual ESG Highlights Report, ESG content on the corporate website, ESG overview presentations, etc., and support external communication to investors and stakeholders on material developments in the firm's ESG performance
    • Liaise with Managers to improve diversity, business conduct and governance at all subsidiaries and share best practice
    • Monitor industry trends and disseminate emerging innovation and best practice
    • Working closely with the ESG Committee consisting of all Subsidiary ESG Champions, to develop and implement investment metrics and KPIs that will drive the business to deliver continuous improvement in ESG performance and provide a consistent approach across all subsidiaries. These metrics should be based on knowledge and analysis of external ESG assessments and reporting requirements or certification schemes, such as GRESB, UNPRI and TCFD;

    Align with industry best practice as articulated by external bodies and 'best in class' peers; and

    Utilise KPI data and benchmarking questionnaires to coordinate the company's responses to relevant external ESG assessments such as TCFD and UNPRI.

    Requirements

    Education:

    Master’s degree in business, sustainability, and 7 years of relevant professional experience from a top-tier financial services/investment/financial firm, consulting firm, or similar role in a corporate role (or equivalent education and experience).

    Experience:

    • Experience working in or with the financial services industry is required. This may include experience with ESG investing, ESG investment stewardship, financial services consulting, etc.
    • Strong analytical skills including use of Excel, plus monitoring, reporting, communication, and presentation skills
    • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
    • Strong organizational skills.

    Senior Portfolio Manager (ARM Investment Managers Limited)

    Job Objectives:

    The Position Holder is responsible for contributing to the formulation of investment strategies, product development and process improvement initiatives; maintain coverage of assigned research responsibilities; ensuring efficient trade execution, portfolio administration and transaction processing; supporting Junior Portfolio Managers, and maintaining secondary responsibility for asset portfolio.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Investment Strategy: Active contribution to the development and implementation of strategies to improve the portfolio management function. The Position Holder is also responsible for the implementation of agreed investment strategies and action plans, and ensuring adherence to investment mandates and client profiles.
    • Client Relationship Management: Preparation of period-end portfolio review reports for clients as requested by PPM.
    • Reports and Presentations: Preparation of strategy reports and presentations on quarterly, half-yearly and annual basis, or as required. The Position Holder is also responsible for actively participating in the preparation and delivery of client presentations when necessary.
    • Portfolio Appraisal: Conduct periodic return appraisals for all portfolios with the help of PPM. Portfolio analysis, including portfolio optimization, index/ benchmark and asset class analysis
    • Research: Responsible for preparing research articles, notes and reports, as well as developing and improving research tools.
    • Product Development: Contribution to product development
    • Market Research: Ongoing assessment of the universe of investible markets, asset classes and securities (using top-down and bottom-up approaches) and maintenance of associated records. The Position Holder is also responsible for the formulation and articulation of views on economies, markets and/ or individual securities with a view to guiding the investment decision-making process
    • Financial and Trading Analysis: Perform detailed financial, product and trading analysis and build valuation models
    • Trade Execution: Trade execution, including compilation and dissemination of approved portfolio trade orders to counterparties. The Position Holder is also responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate posting of portfolio and transaction data.

    Requirements

    Education:

    • Bachelor Degree from an accredited university.
    • Professional certification in finance and/or accounting from a recognized professional body (e.g. CFA, CGMA, ACCA, ICAN etc.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 - 8 years of work experience in similar role.

    Data Analyst (Financial Services)

    Job Objective(s):

    Responsible for developing actionable insights/automation initiatives that drive both strategic and operational decision making for the Financial Control (Fincon) team.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Identify data requirements and acquire data from primary or secondary financial data sources for reporting and descriptive analytics
    • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing to identify anomalies or outliers
    • Interpret data, analyze results using analytical techniques and provide ongoing financial performance reports
    • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
    • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
    • Automate existing management reports to improve the speed from raw data to actionable insights for decision making.
    • Support the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.

    Requirements

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
    • Relevant experience or bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics or any other relevant field

    Experience:

    • At least 2 years of experience working with databases, scripting and visualisation tools and building analytics reports.
    • Expertise regarding data modelling, database querying, reporting and visualisation.
    • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting and visualisation tools (PowerBI etc), databases (SQL server etc).
    • Basic knowledge of statistics and statistical techniques for analyzing datasets
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
    • Adept at queries, data visualisation, report writing and presenting findings
    • Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) will be an added advantage.
    • Finance knowledge or experience will be an added advantage

    Treasury Settlement Analyst

    Job Objectives:

    • Oversee the Treasury Settlement sub-unit functions and ensure the following core responsibilities and key result areas.
    • Responsibilities:
    • Execution of all Funds/Institutional Client’s transactions regarding placements and Liquidations in the Interbank Market by preparing instructions to transferring counterparty/receiving counterparty and uploading payments on the Bank payment platform
    • Prompt execution and settlement of all securities Trades i.e. FGN Bonds, FGN TBills, Eurobonds via the Custodian.
    • Timely recording of daily transactions i.e. Liquidations and investment, Securities purchase/sale, across all portfolios on the Maturities Blotter and posting of same on the portfolio management system.
    • Preparation of necessary reports as it relates to interbank settlement i.e. FI Database and ensure same is sent to internal stakeholders daily.
    • Daily call over of transactions initiated to ensure that all instructions initiated are executed.
    • Reconciliation of all outstanding transactions and SEC/Custodian reports.
    • Ensure retrieval of contract notes from counterparties on all completed transactions and accuracy of the parameters contained therein are as agreed
    • Ensure that transactions are processed in strict adherence to agreed SLAs
    • Provide Bank Relationship Management Support
    • Provide Funds Management support
    • Provide support in the management of ARM Investor Notes and ensure daily posting/call over of transactions on the portfolio management software (Deluxe)
    • Provide support to the working capital and disbursement team and ensure daily posting/call over of transactions on Microsoft Dynamics (AX)

    Requirements

    Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelors Degree required
    • Masters Degree added will be an added advantage.

    Professional Requirement:

    • Detailed knowledge of treasury products
    • Negotiates with good judgment among multiple stakeholders who may have conflicting needs
    • Balances opportunities with business risk objectives to reach optimal results

    5 +years of experience leading Treasury Settlement.

    Team Member - Fund Management (Treasury)

    Job Purpose:

    Responsible for supporting the fund management team through the delivery of strategic treasury capabilities that allow the organization achieve optimal business outcomes.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Efficient Management of all funds being managed by Treasury i.e. ARM Money Market Fund, ARM Investors Note, ARM Trustees funds and other funds under management in Treasury
    • Ensure the best deals are obtained in the interbank market for all Treasury investment Management activities with respect to placement of funds and pre-liquidation of investments, securities purchase and sale in the money market space.
    • Preparation and presentation of all reports as it relates to Funds Management function, which shall include, Mutual Funds Investment Committee Reports (MFIC), Investment Strategy and Risk Committee Report (ISRC), Monthly Market update, funds management reports, etc.
    • Ensure accurate record keeping by posting all transactions on the portfolio management system and updating all funds management Blotters.
    • Identify Risk areas within the scope of work, proffer solutions and deploy mitigation strategies.
    • Work with internal and external stakeholders and ensure NIL exceptions from regulatory bodies, internal control unit, auditors, etc. as it relates to the funds management function.
    • Reconciliation of all outstanding items across all accounts as it relates to the operations of the Funds Management desk.
    • Ensure that transactions are processed in strict adherence to agreed SLAs
    • Provide Bank Relationship Management Support

    Requirements

    Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
    • Advanced degree in Finance or Business Management (e.g. MBA, M.Sc Finance e.t.c)

    Professional Requirements:

    Professional certification in finance and/or accounting from a recognized professional body (e.g. CFA, CGMA, ACCA, ICAN e.t.c)

    Experience Requirements:

    Minimum of 4 years of work experience
