    Partnerships Officer

    ob Summary

    • The Partnerships Officer will be instrumental in identifying, developing, and nurturing strategic relationships with external organizations to drive business growth and expand our reach.
    • This role focuses on supporting the overall partnerships strategy, identifying new collaboration opportunities, and managing existing partner relationships to ensure mutual success and alignment with our business objectives.
    • The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and have a foundational understanding of partnership development and management.

    Responsibilities
    Partnership Identification & Outreach:

    • Conduct market research to identify potential partners whose objectives align with our business goals.
    • Assist in the initial outreach to prospective partners, preparing introductory materials and presentations.
    • Maintain an updated database of potential and existing partners.

    Relationship Management:

    • Support the Business Manager in managing day-to-day relationships with existing partners.
    • Act as a point of contact for routine partner inquiries and provide timely assistance.
    • Schedule and coordinate meetings between partners and internal stakeholders.

    Support & Coordination:

    • Assist in the preparation of partnership proposals, presentations, and reports.
    • Help track partnership performance metrics and contribute to regular reporting on partnership effectiveness.
    • Facilitate internal communication and collaboration between relevant departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Legal, Product) and our partners.
    • Ensure all partnership documentation (agreements, MOUs, etc.) is properly filed and accessible.

    Market Intelligence:

    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and new partnership models that could benefit the organization.
    • Provide insights on partner feedback and market opportunities to the Business Manager.

    Administrative Support:

    • Manage correspondence, calendars, and other administrative tasks related to partnership activities.
    • Assist in organizing partnership-focused events or campaigns.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Economics, or a related field.
    • 2-5 years of experience in a business development, sales support, account management, or administrative role, preferably within a fast-paced corporate environment.
    • Experience in the financial services or technology sector is a plus.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
    • Strong ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships.
    • Proven ability to conduct thorough research and analyze data to identify opportunities.
    • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion.
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    Commercial Specialist

    Job Summary

    • The Commercial Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, vetting, monitoring and executing commercial transactions, structuring partnership agreements, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory standards.
    • The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive revenue growth, optimize deal terms, and manage transaction and market risks. 

    Responsibilities
    Market and Sectoral Analysis:

    • Support commercial finance strategy formulation and market positioning initiatives
    • Support enabling initiatives across target sectors
    • Support Commercial Business Managers with go-to-market strategy formulation

    Partnership and Deal Structuring:

    • Support the Partnerships Business Team in identifying, negotiating, and structuring strategic collaborations.
    • Structure, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, partnership contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure mutually beneficial terms.
    • Conduct due diligence on potential partners to assess financial viability, compliance risks, and alignment with Zedvance’s strategic objectives.

    Transaction and Contract Management:

    • Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle, ensuring all commercial agreements comply with regulatory and company policies.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of all transactions, agreements, and contract amendments.
    • Monitor contract performance, track obligations, and ensure timely execution of deliverables.

    Financial and Business Analysis:

    • Provide data-driven insights and reports on revenue streams, transaction trends, and deal performance.
    • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure revenue forecasting and financial risk assessments are aligned with business goals.

    Stakeholder and Relationship Management:

    • Serve as the primary contact for partners, vendors, and internal teams on commercial transaction matters.
    • Work closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Finance teams to mitigate risks and optimize deal structures.
    • Support cross-functional initiatives to enhance partnership efficiency and revenue optimization.

    Regulatory and Compliance Oversight:

    • Ensure all transactions comply with financial regulations, data privacy laws, and industry best practices.
    • Identify potential risks in commercial engagements and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Support internal audits and regulatory reporting requirements related to partnership transactions.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
    • 4+ years of experience in commercial transactions, contract negotiation, or partnership management within the digital finance, fintech, or financial services sector.
    • Strong understanding of contract law, financial regulations, and digital finance business models.
    • Proven ability to create and analyze deal structures, manage financial transactions, and optimize commercial agreements.
    • Experience working with payment processors, fintechs, lenders, or digital financial service providers is an added advantage.
    • Proficiency in contract management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis software.
