Job Description

• We are looking for a QA Tester to test software quality through automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you have a background in software engineering, we would be excited to speak with you.
• The QA Tester at Vendease will be responsible for ensuring that all our products, applications and systems work correctly.

What You’ll Do

• Review and analyze system specifications
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements

• A Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in QA Testing and/or Engineering
• Have strong interpersonal, writing, and communication skills.
• Knowledge in CI/CD processes and tools.
• Application automation testing experience (i.e. Appium, Selenium, Cucumber).
• Experience with tools and frameworks like Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, TestNG, and TestRail.
• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) and SQL
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Strong organizational skills

Advanced Knowledge / Expertise in these will be a Plus:

• 3+ years of experience with Java, C#, or Javascript. (preferred)
• 3+ years of experience with debugging and automation testing tools (Appium, Selenium Webdriver, Jenkins, Postman, Charles Proxy, etc.).  (preferred)
• 3+ years of experience with source control versioning systems, preferably Bitbucket.

Job Description
What you will be doing:

• Define needs around maintainability, testability, performance, security, quality and usability for Mobile apps
• Drive implementation, consistent patterns, reusable components, and coding standards of mobile infrastructure for android and iOS applications
• Enable agile development of UI
• Design, develop, and manage automated unit, integration and acceptance tests for all UI components
• Work with the Product managers, product owners, Business Analysts and
• Customers throughout the requirements process to properly understand the long-term goals of the products and where they fit in the overall mobile infrastructure
• Communication of new technologies, best practices, etc. to developers, testers, and managers.
• Influence UI design requirements to build best-in-class experiences
• Mentoring and peer review of designs and code implementations
• Work with technical specialists (Security Team, Performance Engineer, etc.) to ensure that all parties understand the system that is being designed and built and that all major issues are understood and mitigated.
• Expected to participate in several implementation phases of the product development cycle – design, scoping, planning, implementation and test.
• Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Investigate issues reported by testing teams to determine impact, root cause, and solve them.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to optimize performance.
• Work in a fast-paced environment that fosters growth and learning.
• Verbal and written communication is clear and concise.
• Clearly articulate development and timeline dependencies

Requirements

• Ability to design, implement and develop various APIs (REST, SOAP, etc) - advanced proficiency
• Advanced proficiency with NodeJS, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, Git, Codacy, Postman, CSS, SQL, UNIX
• Agolia, GraphQL, TypeScript, AWS, GCP, Postgres, Sequelize, Mocha, Jai, Redis, RabbitMQ,Docker, Kubernetes
• Experienced with Multi-tenancy architecture
• Demonstrable experience with FINTECH core feature development such as Wallet, Direct Debit, payment, collection, API documentation with Notion or Postman.

About Role

• We are looking for a qualified Front-end engineer with experience in Angular to join our tech team. You will be responsible for creating a top-level coding-base using angular best practices. 
• To ensure success as an angular developer, you should be proficient in Typescript, Javascript, HTML, CSS and SCSS.

Responsibilities
What you will be doing:

• Develop User Interfaces for Modern Rich Web Applications using Angular 
• Perform product analysis and development tasks of increasingly complex nature which may require extensive research
• Write highly performant, responsive and reusable angular components and applications
• Make design and technical decisions for Angular projects
• Create unit tests to ensure code is functioning as expected.
• Participate in stakeholder calls to gather feedback, reading product specifications, and work with backend services
• Attend a daily Agile (Scrum) meeting to identify, groom, and report progress on development projects

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience developing with TypeScript-base front-end web frameworks (Angular 2+ is a must)
• At least 3 years of front-end development experience
• Experience with State management, reactive and functional programming
• Extensive programming experience in HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and Tailwind CSS, Angular material
• Exceptional problem solving and ability to work independently
• Exceptional learning skills
• Solid understanding and extensive experience with Git as version control tool
• Experience consuming REST APIs
• TDD/BDD experience (Jest, Jasmine, Karma or Chai)
• Experience with client-side architecture and design patterns, Solid understanding and development experience in Angular
• Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations

• Install and configure computer hardware operating systems, applications, network and related accessories
