    Swimming Coach

    Job Purpose:

    • A school Swimming Coach instructs students in proper swimming techniques, emphasizes the importance of water safety, and cultivates a supportive yet competitive atmosphere.
    • The Swimming Coach reports directly to the Head of PE, Deputy Head Teacher Academic and Head Teacher.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • The Swimming Coach is responsible for the overall delivery of swimming as part of the UK National Curriculum to pupils from Reception class to Year 6.
    • They work with children across all ability levels—from beginners learning the basics to advanced swimmers refining their skills.
    • Identify pupils’ abilities and deliver sessions appropriate to the level of each group
    • Develop tailored training programs to improve endurance, speed, and technique.
    • Prepare students for competitions with strategies and motivational support.
    • Enforce pool rules and respond to emergencies promptly.
    • Ensure the safety standards are met and life-saving standards are followed in all swimming sessions.
    • Showcase deep knowledge and passion for swimming while clearly explaining techniques to pupils,
    • ensuring both understanding and enthusiasm in their learning.
    • Maintain logs of emergency drills and safety checks.
    • Coordinate with the Head of PE and other staff on scheduling and events.
    • Monitor and organise swimming materials
    • Evaluate sessions and give feedback to the Deputy Head Teacher
    • Stay updated with modern coaching techniques and safety protocols and to attend relevant courses, disseminating the information to colleagues
    • Support with identifying training needs for pupils in the swim squad and facilitate appropriate training sessions
    • Provide parents with information regarding the subject at parents’ conference and correspond with
    • parents whose children are at swim squad
    • Supervise the Lifeguard during swim sessions and be responsible for administering first aid around the pool
    • Ensure that the swimming pool is in good condition and the chlorine levels are always checked
    • Regularly assess each child’s swimming ability and progress and arrange to award children with the appropriate swimming certification
    • To attend regular meetings with the Head of PE and carry out administrative work as and when necessary
    • To undertake other duties in connection with the subject in the school which the Deputy Head Teacher
    • and Head Teacher may from time to time require.

    Qualifications

    • OND or Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetic/Health Education, Physical Education or related field is preferred.
    • Certified Swimming Instructor, CPR, and First Aid Lifeguarding qualification
    • Knowledge of computer software programmes, such as MS Office

    Work Experience

    • Minimum of Three (3) years of relative experience

    HR & Marketing Assistant

    • The HR & Marketing Assistant will work closely with the HR Manager to:
    • To provide effective, timely and proactive administrative support to the HR Manager.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    HR

    • To maintain and update all HR records (paper and electronic) accurately and efficiently, creating reports as required
    • Update SageHR database with new starter details along with training, appraisal, absence and leaver’s information and provide reports relating to employee attendance.
    • Working with the HR Manager to complete a monthly spreadsheet for Payroll notifying all new starters/leavers and pay changes
    • Support the recruitment process as required
    • Undertake general administration tasks including filing, photocopying, scanning and general admin functions.
    • To arrange and notify staff of first-aid training, Fire Safety training and other whole school training
    • Support the process of pre-employment checks for new staff
    • Support the induction process for new staff
    • Update the Staff Handbook with relevant changes
    • Process leavers and archive files
    • Generate and acknowledge any relevant correspondence

    Marketing

    • Assist with editing of the school’s prospectus and marketing brochures as required
    • Organise marketing display materials, collating promotional goods for visitors
    • Support for the school
    • Maintain strict confidentiality with all pupils and staff data with due regard to data protection
    • Undergo any training required in order to perform duties effectively
    • Have due regards for health and safety and safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and to follow all associated safeguarding and child protection policies at the school

    Fundraising & Program Consultant

    Role Summary

    • St. Saviour’s School Ikoyi is seeking an experienced and strategic Fundraising Program Manager to lead and coordinate fundraising initiatives for the School’s Endowment Fund. We're looking for someone with strong experience in the NGO, nonprofit, development, or social impact sector, with a proven ability to drive donor engagement, manage fundraising campaigns, and build sustainable partnerships with individuals, institutions, and corporate organisations. The role requires a relationship-driven professional who can develop innovative fundraising strategies, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and support the long-term sustainability of the School’s educational vision.

    Role Objectives 

    • Increase Funding to St. Saviour's School Ikoyi: Develop and implement targeted fundraising strategies to significantly boost the St. Saviour’s School Ikoyi endowment fund, focusing on contributions from alumni, parents, NGOs, foundations, and community stakeholders.
    • Build Relationships: Establish and nurture meaningful relationships with current and prospective donors, alumni, and community stakeholders to create a strong culture of giving that benefits the school.
    • Enhance Awareness of St. Saviour's School Initiatives: Increase understanding of the endowment fund’s purpose, goals, and the direct impact of contributions on St. Saviour’s mission and student opportunities. 4. Drive Sustainable Growth: Create and manage ongoing fundraising initiatives to ensure long- term financial sustainability and support for educational programs at St. Saviour’s School.

    Roles and Responsibilities 

    • Provides technical and/or professional coordination and leadership in the execution of day-to-day program/project activities, as appropriate to program objectives and area of expertise.
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan tailored to the unique needs of St. Saviour’s School Ikoyi to meet endowment objectives.
    • Collaborate with all fundraising teams and committees at St. Saviour's School to streamline and manage requests effectively.
    • Establish, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective donors, including alumni, school families, corporations, and philanthropic foundations within the community.
    • Plan and organize donor recognition events, school community gatherings, and alumni events to foster deeper connections and keep donors informed and engaged.
    • Lead and execute diverse fundraising campaigns, including donor appeals, school events, online initiatives, and partnerships with local businesses to maximize reach and contributions. 
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of all fundraising campaigns and initiatives, providing feedback and adjustments to maximize success rates.
    • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of donations and financial contributions to the endowment fund.
    • Work with the school’s marketing and communications team to develop promotional materials, newsletters, and social media campaigns that highlight the endowment fund’s importance.
    • Prepare regular reports on fundraising activities, progress, and goals for the school’s executive leadership and board, keeping them informed about fundraising efforts and successes.
    • Develop and manage the fundraising budget to optimize resource use and maximize ROI, while analyzing trends, donor feedback, community engagement, and market dynamics for data-driven future strategies.
    • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and staff involved in fundraising activities, providing support and guidance to ensure successful outcomes. 

    Experience 

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field.
    • Proven track record of successful fundraising experience, including leading and managing campaigns or resource mobilisation within an NGO, nonprofit, foundation, or social impact organisation.
    • Familiarity with or strong connections to high-net-worth clients, schools and/or expanded business community.
    • Strong network and experience engaging with corporate organisations, NGOs, foundations, development partners, and high-net-worth individuals.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to facilitate and drive fundraising requests with Csuite, donors, stakeholders, and the school community.
    • Demonstrated experience in leading teams and coordinating fundraising efforts, often with volunteers and staff, to achieve fundraising goals.
    • Strong analytical skills to assess fundraising performance and derive insights for improving future initiatives.
    • Knowledge of fundraising software and donor management systems, as well as digital marketing strategies to maximize engagement.
