    School Administrator

    Location: Isheri, Lagos

    Job Summary

    • The School Administrator is responsible for administering the schools’ strategy, fine tuning and implementing its policies, and driving operational results at Riverside Schools.
    • In this executive leadership and management role, the School Administrator will work with the Director of Studies, HR Manager and Finance Manager to align stakeholders with the organization’s vision, strengthen the organization’s culture and optimize its performance.
    • The Principal and Head Teachers will report directly to him/her, to ensure the schools run effectively.

    Responsibilities
    He / she is expected to:

    • Lead the team to build a world class, tech savvy school by creating a strong, award winning, tech position for the institution.
    • Build a relationship with the board to understand expectations and growth plans
    • Monitor and ensure financial prudence
    • Build a strong and positive culture system.
    • Understand the business’ performance and establish operational excellence
    • Ensure the achievement of the organization’s strategic priorities.
    • Update SOPs, manage and improve internal and external processes.
    • Increase organization’s revenues, profitability and market share.
    • Monitor financial prudence, budgeting and logistics management.
    • Strategic planning for business expansion and human capital development.
    • Develop strategic partnerships and networks with tech giants, communities, and professional business relationships that can enhance the actualization of the school’s vision.
    • Standardize the quality of output from teaching and non-teaching staff; and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
    • Lead practices to ensure high academic standards.
    • Grow leadership within the organization.
    • Track and measure compliance.
    • Data and intelligence gathering from customers, staff and the environment for strategic decision making.
    • Handle daily business operations and reporting systems.
    • Drive the daily implementation of the organizational strategy.
    • Ensure the smooth running of all departments.
    • Ensure the environment adheres to safety standards and remains in optimal condition.
    • Keep the CEO abreast of all business activities and developments with timely reports on the operational condition of the organization.
    • Marketing and PR function inter-phasing with customers and stakeholders.

    Requirements

    • A Master's Degree in Social Sciences, Education or related fields.
    • A track record of leadership and experience in operations and performance management
    • 10 years of which 3 must have been in a management role
    • Proven skills in business strategy, growing organizations and performance improvement
    • Problem solving, critical thinking and conflict management skills
    • Strong track record in business administration and operations
    • Strong business focus and organizational ability
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Intelligence gathering and data mining
    • Strong industry network reflected in association memberships.
    • Experience in Education management

    Business Development Manager

    Location: Isheri, Lagos

    Responsibilities
    The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for the business’ growth objectives as it pertains to revenue growth, sales goals and marketing campaigns. The BDM will work with the Executive Leadership Team to actualize its business objectives, increase profitability and keep the business competitive. Other key functions are to:

    • Lead the organization-wide sales and marketing function
    • Act as the Admissions’ Officer ensuring a seamless admission process
    • Manage the front office.
    • Manage client relationship and identify new frontiers for attracting new clients.
    • Manage the brand on and off-line
    • Manage the Alumni community.
    • Track customer satisfaction and engagement through regular surveys and feedback systems
    • Meet with potential business partners and stakeholders to advance the organization’s business objectives
    • Run outbound campaigns like email marketing, phone calls and flier sharing campaigns to create sales opportunities
    • Social media management tracking engagement metrics and responding to enquires.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
    • Proven experience in sales and marketing
    • 5 – 10 years in a Business Development role

    • Strong understanding of the organizations products, position and competition to strengthen its competitive position.

    Human Resources Manager

    Location: Isheri, Lagos
    Employment Type: Full-time

    Job Description

    • The HR Manager oversees the daily human resource function at Riverside Schools, ensuring all roles are adequately filled by identifying gaps and filling vacancies within the organization.
    • Other functions are administering payroll, benefits and leave, planning and tracking human development functions like training, metrics such as talent retention, dismissal rate, presenteeism, absenteeism and productivity per staff.
    • Expected to enforce company policies and culture; and drive effective performance evaluations.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead staff recruitment, posting job vacancies and the interview process
    • Identify vacancies within the organizations and fill them
    • Employee application background checks and eligibility verification
    • Lead the reviews of the staff handbook and compliance with the policies in it
    • Monitors performance metrics and leads the performance evaluation process within the organization
    • Implement HR software for payroll, employment and benefits, record keeping and tracking performance, leave days, productivity and training
    • Ensure workplace safety, ethical behaviour, sexual harassment policies and compliance
    • Benefits administration and staff welfare
    • Handles staff onboarding, orientation, recognition and disciplinary programs
    • Employment law compliance
    • Oversees staff training and development initiatives
    • Maintain staff directory, updates HR records and organizational chart
    • Maintain knowledge of trends and stay up-to-date on new technologies in HR, talent management and employment laws.

    Requirements

    • BA / BSc Degree, preferably in Social Sciences / HR Management
    • CIPM certification would be an added advantage for position.
    • 3-5 years’ relevant experience in a HR function
    • A track record of organizational leadership
    • Proficiency in planning and the use of organizational management software (Payroll systems, Human Resource Management Systems and Human Resource Information Systems)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills
    • Interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
    • Experience in a school would be an added advantage.

    Salary
    N180,000 - N200,000 / month.
