    Finance Associate

    Job Description

    mPharma is looking for a Finance Associate to join our Nigeria operations. In this role, the Associate will be expected to interface with clients, suppliers, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure accuracy of data monitoring mechanisms for facilities’ weekly revenues, deposits, bank balances, and withdrawals. Where necessary, collaborate with the Operations team to collect information on revenue. 
    • Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting and reforecast processes.
    • Financial analysis and determining viable investment opportunities via NPV,ROCE and other methods in collaboration with Operations
    • Computation of cash and recovery analysis
    • Manages the Business Unit’s  expenditures to ensure that there are proper authorization and approval and spends are within the approved budget
    • Responsible for identifying highly liquid investments in which idle cash can be invested and ensuring an adequate balance between risk and return
    •  Ensure Customers’ ledgers are updated in time to enable real-time decision making
    • Identification and Minimisation of risk associated with Investment Portfolios
    • Collaboration with Operations to ensure the unit’s annual objectives are met.
    • Receivable management -working closely with the collections team to obtain payment based on agreed payment period.
    • Any other duties as assigned by the Head of Finance

    Requirements

    • ICA/ ACCA/ CFA 
    • A BSC degree in Accounting, Math, Finance, Engineering, Physical Sciences preferred
    • 3-5 years experience in Finance/ Investment banking preferred
    • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Accounting packages.
    • Excellent problem solving skills
    • Be a member of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Accountants

    Call Centre Executive

    Position Description

    mPharma is looking for a call centre agent with a background in healthcare management and pharmacy studies.  The call centre agent will be the face of our B2C business (online and offline retail) and will be responsible for helping customers understand and use our services.  This candidate will be a member of our Call Centre team in Nigeria and will work with the team to deliver value and high quality service to customers. 

    Responsibilities

    • Handle inbound and outbound client calls in line with mPharma’s objectives.
    • Follow relevant call centre communication scripts when engaging clients. 
    • Engage and build sustainable relationships with clients.
    • Employ call centre software in keeping appropriate records of all client communication. 
    • Ensure clients are satisfied with the level of service being delivered by administering customer satisfaction surveys.
    • Maintain and improve quality of service by adhering to standards and guidelines.
    • Keep a shared log of functional/process improvements/issues for iterative purposes.
    • Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise.
    • Update job knowledge continuously, and follow industry best practices.
    • Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets.

    • HND/Bsc/BEd Administration, Biological Science or any related program.

    Pharmacy Technician

    Position Description

    mPharma is looking for a Pharmacy Technician with a background in healthcare management and Pharmaceuticals.   The candidate will be a member of our E-Commerce business unit in Nigeria and will work with the team to deliver value and high quality service to customers through our business operations. The E-Commerce business unit is a B2C team which focuses on improving patient accessibility to quality healthcare through a range of innovative initiatives. This team also manages mPharma’s online retail and delivery activities.

    Responsibilities

    • Take prescription orders from clients/patients; capturing information appropriately
    • Maintains and improves quality by adhering to standards and guidelines
    • Following call center/communication “scripts” when handling different topics
    • Build sustainable relationships and engage customers/patients
    • Update job knowledge by studying new products and following Pharmaceutical industry best practice
    • Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
    • Partake in taking prescription orders from consumers/patients and capturing appropriately
    • Involved in medication packaging and labeling
    • Provision of medication counseling tips to patients
    • Provide regular updates on stocks availability for delivery
    • Take regular stock count keep stock information updated 
    • Recording and submitting Adverse Event reports and materials within a defined time period.

    Our Ideal Candidate:

    • Qualified and professional Pharmacy Technician with at least 2 years work experience in the community/retail space.
    • Conversant with code of ethics of the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria
    • Pays attention to detail even under work related pressure.
    • A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude that requires minimal supervision
    • Fluent English with excellent writing, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills
    • Works effectively as a team member and promotes collaboration
    • Appreciation for the importance of Pharmacovigilance compliance in pharma industry
    • Multi-tasker and have the ability to work under pressure with little supervision. 
    • Computer literate.
