Retail Sales Analyst at SENCE Nigeria

Responsibilities:

• Analyse retail sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth.
• Develop reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to the sales team and senior management.
• Monitor performance metrics and KPIs related to retail sales, such as sell-through rates, inventory levels, and market share.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform sales strategies and identify areas for differentiation.
• Collaborate with the retail sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives.
• Assist in the development and implementation of sales forecasting models to support demand planning and inventory management.
• Maintain and update databases and systems with accurate sales data and market information.
• Stay informed about industry trends, consumer behaviour, and regulatory changes that may impact retail sales.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide insights to support decision-making across the organization.
• Assist in the preparation of marketing materials and presentations for client meetings and events.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize sales processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (minimum 2nd Class Upper) or HND (Upper Credit) in a Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in retail sales analysis or a related field within the asset management industry.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Preferably registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a sponsored individual.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word for creating compelling presentations and documents.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions.
