    Fraud Investigator

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the prosecution of cases through the relevant judicial processes. This role requires meticulous evidence gathering and analysis, preparation of documentation for legal proceedings, and close collaboration with legal authorities. The Fraud Investigator will maintain accurate records, stay updated on industry trends and legal requirements, and work with internal teams to implement preventive measures and enhance fraud detection strategies.     Key Responsibilities

    • Perform field and desktop investigations to identify potential instances of fraud.
    • Conduct due diligence, collect, and report case findings on a daily basis.
    • Develop proactive strategies in the field to detect cases of fraud.
    • Adhere to established guidelines and procedures when interacting with law enforcement regarding confirmed fraud cases.
    • Support the team in closing all fraud cases within specified timelines.
    • Provide regular actionable feedback based on fraud insights from customers, sales agents, and other sources to enhance business practices.
    • Coordinate with relevant external stakeholders to ensure the prosecution of relevant cases through the appropriate judicial channels.

    Experience, Education and Skills Required

    • Certification in a fraud-related discipline, such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
    • Proficiency in identifying indicators of fraud through data mining and analytics.
    • Understanding of common practices of fraudsters, criminal justice systems and processes.
    • Comfortable interacting with various stakeholders, including customers, law enforcement, and staff.
    • Demonstrated ability to act professionally, proactively, and independently during extended field assignments in both urban and rural areas.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with and manage business expectations of key stakeholders, as well as to communicate findings effectively.
    • Possesses a positive, learning-oriented attitude and a capacity for self-empowerment.
    • Five years of professional work experience in an investigative role. Preference will be given to candidates with inspector-level experience as ex-police officers.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in one or more additional local languages is preferred.

    Regional Retail Coordinator

    The main purpose of a Regional Retail Coordinator is to support retail shops, depots and stock points on a day-to-day basis on logistics, stock, customer and sales service for smooth running and resolution of issues.

    You will report to the Senior Retail Operation Lead.

    Responsibilities

    • Stock Management: You will manage stock reconciliations and mitigate stock shortage occurrence In the region by re-ordering understocked Stock Keeping Units (SKUs)to individual shops
    • Aged stock: You will support Field Sales Managers, Sales Executives, and shops in aged stock returns and reallocations as well as in reporting lost phones.
    • DSR Stock Holding: You will support FSMs, SEs, and shops to ensure all active selling DSRs and new DSRs are holding stock within the min-max levels
    • Phone Repairs: You will manage the delivery of phones to the repair center within SLA and customers pick up repaired phones within SLA
    • Cancellations: You will ensure cancellations within the region are closed in time
    • Shop assistants support: You will ensure regular coaching of shop assistants on processes, products, systems, and service
    • Reverse logistics: You will ensure shops perform reverse logistics in adherence to M-KOPA standards
    • You will track and report the performance of shop assistants
    • You will develop retail strategies that support business objectives
    • You will resolve issues experienced by shop assistants as they arise

    Requirements

    • At least 2 years of working in sales or retail field
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with basic MS Excel and MS word knowledge and good reporting skills
    • A good leader with empathy ready to support low-level employees
    • Clear communication on email, telephone, in person
    • Able to self-manage and take initiative without being micro-managed
    • At least a college diploma in a business-related field
