    Overview

    • Provide administrative and operational support to the Dean of the JHU Business School.

    Qualifications

    Job Brief

    • We are seeking a highly motivated and accomplished professional to serve as Director of Admissions.

    Overview

    • Responsible leading the University’s admissions department as we examine, define, and conduct our admissions process and promote our programs to prospective students.
    • The admissions director will help establish and update our procedures and criteria, work with potential students to determine their eligibility, and oversee the admissions process as we evaluate applications and issues decisions.
    • She/he will also plan and oversee promotional activities and schedule or conduct tours, student interviews, and information sessions.

    • Responsible for the coordination and administration of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs offered the Business School of James Hope University.
    • The coordinator will work closely with faculty, staff, and students to ensure the program is running efficiently and effectively.

    Qualifications

    • Responsible for managing the operational financial administration within the University and its departments and ensuring that they follow all University financial controls throughout.
    • The postholder will be the main source of advice within the faculty concerning the University’s financial regulations and procedures and will ensure that all financial transactions are in line with these regulations and procedures.

    Qualifications

    • Possession of a Bachelor's Degree, in Accountancy, finance or related field; Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is mandatory. Possession of a Ph.D. shall be an added advantage.

    IT Manager

    Job Brief

    • We are seeking a highly motivated and accomplished professional to serve as an  IT Manager for our Business School.

    Job Summary

    • Responsible for managing the technology infrastructure and support services for the Business School. This includes overseeing the implementation and maintenance of technology systems, managing the school’s network and security, managing the help desk, and providing technical support to faculty, staff, and students.
    • The IT Manager is a critical member of the School’s team, responsible for providing technical expertise and support to ensure the smooth operation of all technology systems.
    • The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of technology infrastructure, strong project management skills, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    Qualifications

    • Possession of a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
    • Minimum of 5 years working experience in technology management, preferably in a higher education environment
    • Knowledge of network and server infrastructure, security policies, and help desk support
    • Strong project management skills and experience managing technology projects
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students
    • Demonstrated ability to manage a team of technical staff and provide training and development
    • Knowledge of enterprise software applications, including learning management systems, student information systems, and business systems
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

    Physical Demands:

    • This position may require the IT Manager to sit or stand for extended periods, lift, or move heavy equipment, and work in confined spaces.
    • The IT Manager may also be required to work outside of normal business hours to perform system maintenance or upgrades.

    Working Conditions:

    • The IT Manager will primarily work in an office environment but may occasionally need to work in classrooms or other areas of the School.
    • This position may require occasional travel to other university campuses.
