EXPERIENCE: 3-5 YEARS

Eko maintenance Limited is a rapidly growing Facility Management Company that specializes in maintenance of high rise building facilities with office located in Victoria Island, Lagos.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reading blueprints / instructions and examining surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary
• Making on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.
• Preparing walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates should possess an HND / OND qualification with 3 - 5 years work experience.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Technician must possess adequate skill to execute aluminum fixtures and maintenance.
• Must be able to analyse and execute task according to regulated standards
• Must be polyvalent to execute other civil tasks asides aluminum fixtures and maintenance works. E.g. – Façade Cleaning, e.t.c.
• Must be able to handle portable and dedicated power tools and equipment’s
• Must be able to perform aluminium works, iron monger works, furniture, etc.
• Any other related job

Knowledge And Skills Required

• Applicant must have proven track record on the job.
• Basic understanding, knowledge and experience in HSE procedures is a pre-requisite
• The Applicant is expected to be familiar with aluminium works, use of alocoboard,  iron monger works, furniture works and Janitorial services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Trade Test in Electrical or its equivalent.
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Aluminium works.

Job Profile

• QA/QC Officer makes sure that products meet standards of quality.
• They measure and weigh products, examine samples and test them.

Key Responsibilities

• Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
• Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
• Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
• Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an ‘inspection’ role within a busy facility management company.
• Knowledge of Standards of Nigeria (SON) in an Engineering environment.
• Excellent oral and written skills in English language.
• Computer literate with excel, word and power point.
• Able to work on own initiative & without supervision.
