Job Details

• A fast-growing digital agency is looking for a Backend Developer Intern to create, maintain, and improve norm-disruptive software applications that will serve millions of people all over the world.

• You’ll be working from our HQ at Ibadan, Oyo state.

Responsibilities

• Identify user and system requirements for new websites and applications
• Write or review code for various applications
• Liaise with designers to decide on UI/UX elements (like graphics and navigation buttons)
• Ensure our software documentation is up-to-date
• Collaborate with mobile developers to build mobile-responsive web & mobile applications
• Participate in the solutions, design, maintenance & improvements of our core products
• Supporting the operations team in order to provide the best uptime and service quality
• Developing and deploying to cloud-based technology (AWS)

Requirements

• 0-1year of experience as a Web Developer.
• Eagerness and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of security practices
• Familiarity with work tools, frameworks and languages.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
• Creative thinking and analytical skills.
• Ability to learn fast and work under pressure.
• Must be honest, hardworking, and reliable.

Remuneration

• This is a 6 months unpaid internship but transportation allowance will be provided for the duration of the internship.

• Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
• Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
• Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
• Developing goals for business growth and ensuring they are met.

Requirements
What qualifies you to work for us?

• Degree in any course
• Experience in Sales or Marketing. Experience in Digital Marketing is an added advantage
• Experience working independently within a team.
• Strong communication and persuasion skills.
• Very driven, disciplined and must be able to work with minimum or no supervision.

Remuneration

• This is a commission-only role, no salary will be paid.
• 15% of all products/services you sell.
