    Admin Intern

    Job Overview

    The role works directly with the Executive Assistant to the Country Director to manage the CO accounting and closely with the Country Finance Manager and other CBM Global staff.

    Follow all CBM Global policies, procedures, grant compliance and documentation requirements.

    Responsibilities and Duties ​

    • Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the Country Director, Executive Assistant and or the SMT
    • Work closely with the Executive Assistant to ensure smooth operation of all administrative matters.
    • Welcome visitors to the Country Office while receiving documents at the front desk and directing to respective staff members.
    • Perform clerical tasks such as filing, scanning documents into an electronic system, and making copies of documents.
    • Support in taking attendance and minutes of regular Country Office meetings and other meetings as required.
    • Organize, plan, and contribute to coordination of team activities (meetings, workshops, travel budgets).
    • Act as the contact person for the administrative team during the absence of team members, following-up on any emergencies with appropriate team member(s), within the CBM Global Country Office.
    • Assist in receiving of purchased goods and distributing them to each department and staff.
    • Assist in filing of supporting documents/invoices linked to administration.
    • Assist in staff recruitment process and interviews arrangement in cooperation with the Executive Assistant and relevant staff members.
    • Provide assistance to Executive Assistant to manage monthly utility usages such as Country office beverages, stationery, etc while ensuring timely re-stocking of supplies.
    • Provide updated reports to the Executive Assistant, and to CBM Global Country Director as requested

    Project Officer, Person-Centered NTD Care Project

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Develop and maintain excellent working relations with CBM Global staff and programme stakeholders including partner organisations, Organisations of People with Disabilities (OPDs), and government agencies at National and State levels.
    • Support the development and maintenance of authentic partnerships with implementing partners, adopting an approach to partnership that aligns with and supports CBM Global’s partnership principles.
    • Undertake partner assessments action plan monitoring as required, following CBM Global’s partner assessment procedures.
    • Working with partners, Thematic Teams, and Member Teams, support the development and design of new projects and programmes through the identification of new project opportunities, and through the development of these opportunities in line with the Project Development and Approval procedures. Follow an approach that embraces CBM Global’s operating model; Programme Quality Framework; and partnership with the networks of persons affected and at risk of NTDs (including people with disabilities).
    • Ensure multi-stakeholder engagement including of people affected and at risk of NTDs in the project cycle in line with CBM Global commitment to authentic partnerships.
    • Support the identification of funding opportunities for CBM Global’s work and actively participate in fundraising efforts as guided by the Country Programme Manager.
    • As directed by the Programme Manager, work with and support consortium partners to ensure effective and timely delivery of project activities, in line with required standards, objectives, activity plans and budgets.

    • Support and sustain a high quality and timely documentation culture by consortium partners including implementation data, field stories and photographs, statistics and project narrative and financial reports.
    • Lead in partner capacity gap identification through effective monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes, and enhance access to requisite training to strengthen the partner capacity to implement successful projects.
    • Ensure partners understand and are able to adhere to key policies and procedures of CBM Global, as detailed in project contracts and CBM Global’s ‘approach to partnership’.

    Project Officer - Nigeria

    Job Overview

    The Project officer is accountable for implementing programme components of CBM Global Country Office in line with the CBM Global Programme Strategy, and in close collaboration and coordination with relevant Thematic teams and Member Associations and partners. As a member of the Programme team, success requires close collaboration with Country Office staff, partners, in-country stakeholders, Thematic Teams, and Member Associations to develop, win support for and ensure effective delivery of projects, across all three vehicles of change detailed in the organisation’s programmatic strategy. S/he will support partners towards high standards, in line with our Programme Quality Framework and the development and maintenance of effective and authentic partnerships in line with our Approach to Partnership. S/he will promote strong capacity in project design, proposal development, effective project implementation, monitoring, evaluation and learning within CBM Global projects and partners.
