Job Summary

• A UI/UX Designer is a professional who identifies new opportunities to create better user experiences.
• They ensure that the end-to-end journey with their products or services meets desired outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders across the organization to produce design artefacts, information architecture, interfaces, visualizations, code, technical frameworks and systems for modelling, analysis, and simulation of designs.
• Work with stakeholders across the organization to define requirements for research-related technical solutions.
• Deploy existing domain knowledge, or rapidly accumulate more, to understand the computational algorithms, requirements and interfaces involved in a research programming project, and contribute appropriate design assets to the development effort.
• Take responsibility for the delivery of design assets, visualizations, code, and interface components, and their integration into wider institutional technical frameworks and strategies.
• Evaluate the feasibility of project proposals from a design perspective; 
• Coordinate design and delivery of UI/UX elements with internal and external delivery teams

Requirements

Education and Experience

• B.Sc Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields
• 3 to 5 years professional experience
• Independent designer, creative and eye for details 
• Able to collect feedback from users in order to come to a cutting edge design

Other Required Knowledge & Skills

• Experience in the following: graphic design, user interface design, digital product design 
• Translate product feature and business requirements into user 
  flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences 
• Partner with the engineering team to identify design problems and devise responsive UI solutions for multiple platforms 
• Understanding of interactive design with “User Friendly” in mind
• Experience using the following tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch 
• Comprehension of working with UX research, user testing and feedbacks 
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment

• A QA Tester is a professional who tests the functionality and usability of new or existing software before it goes live to ensure it is bug-free. They work closely with developers, providing them feedback on what needs improvement in order to produce top-quality programs that meet customer expectations

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and analyzing system specifications
• Collaborating with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Executing test cases (manual or automated) and analyzing results
• Evaluating product code according to specifications
• Creating logs to document testing phases and defects
• Reporting bugs and errors to development teams
• Helping troubleshoot issues

Education and Experience

• B.Sc Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields

• Experience in project management and QA methodology
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Working knowledge of test management software
