    Head of Finance

    Job Summary

    Responsible for overseeing the administrative, and financial operations of Arca Payments. This includes developing a comprehensive financial and operational strategy, establishing metrics aligned with that strategy, and continuously monitoring control systems to protect company assets while ensuring accurate financial reporting.

    Job Details

    Planning

    • Assist in formulating Arca Payments’ future direction and support tactical initiatives.
    • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans.
    • Develop financial and tax strategies to optimize company resources.
    • Manage capital requests and budgeting processes effectively.
    • Create performance measures that align with the company’s strategic goals.

    Operations

    • Participate in key decisions as part of the Senior Management team.
    • Foster in-depth relationships with all members of the management team.
    • Oversee the accounting, human resources, and legal departments.
    • Manage third-party relationships for outsourced accounting and finance functions.
    • Oversee transaction processing systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
    • Implement operational best practices across financial functions.
    • Supervise employee benefit plans, focusing on cost-effective solutions.
    • Lead acquisition due diligence processes and negotiate acquisition deals.

    Financial Information

    • Oversee the issuance of financial reports and information.
    • Report financial results to the board of directors and other stakeholders.
    • Monitor ongoing legal issues and their implications for the company and industry.
    • Construct and oversee reliable control systems to safeguard assets.
    • Ensure appropriate insurance coverage is maintained.
    • Guarantee compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain records that meet auditing and governmental standards.
    • Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors.
    • Build and maintain relationships with external auditors, addressing their findings and recommendations.

    Funding

    • Monitor cash balances and forecasts to ensure liquidity.
    • Arrange for debt and equity financing as needed.
    • Manage investment of company funds to maximize returns.

    Third Parties

    • Participate in calls with the investment community to communicate company performance.
    • Maintain banking relationships to support financial operations.
    • Represent Arca Payments with investment bankers and investors.

    Supervisory

    • Supervise and provide overall leadership to the finance team.
    • Evaluate the structure of the finance division, identifying areas for improvement.
    • Train team members and other staff on financial management, and strategy policies.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, and other related fields.
    • Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations preferred, ICAN, ACCA, FCCA, CFA
    • 10+ years of experience in financial and management roles. Proven expertise in the fintech sector is a plus.

    Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

    Job Summary

    The CISO will be responsible for the overall security of ARCA Payments’ information systems. This role will develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive information security program to protect ARCA Payments' information assets against unauthorized access, modification, or loss. The CISO will work closely with executive management, Product, Technology, Legal, Risk and Compliance, and other departments to establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.

    Job Details

    • Responsible for the day-to-day cybersecurity activities and mitigating cybersecurity risks in ARCA Payments.
    • Develop and implement a strategic, long-term information security strategy and roadmap to protect ARCA Payments’ information assets.
    • Update, implement, and maintain information security policies, procedures, and standards to comply with regulatory requirements and best practices.
    • Identify, assess, and prioritize security risks and work with business units to implement risk mitigation strategies.
    • Design and oversee the implementation of secure infrastructure, including network security, data protection, and application security.
    • Lead the response to information security incidents, including investigation, containment, and remediation.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards such as NDPA, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27032, ISO 22301, and CBN Cybersecurity Framework.
    • Develop and conduct security awareness training programs to educate employees about information security threats and best practices.
    • Assess and manage the security of third-party vendors and service providers.
    • Manage the Information Security budget and communicate this with the appropriate parties
    • Protect the intellectual property of the company.
    • Update and maintain business continuity plans to ensure service is continuously delivered in the event of a disaster or security breach.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to the executive team and board of directors on the status of information security initiatives and compliance.
    • Conduct a continuous assessment of current security practices and systems and identify areas of improvement.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role.
    • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.
    • Strong understanding of current IT security technologies and methodologies, including cloud security, network security, application security, SIEM, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
    • Proven ability to lead and manage a team of information security professionals.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and tactically.
    • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and standards.

    Executive Assistant to the CEO

    Job Summary

    To provide full executive support to the CEO in management, administration, travel arrangements and meeting preparation and working on specific projects and research as required. To support and develop key internal and external stakeholder relationships on behalf of the CEO. Male candidates are preferred.

    Job Details

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Efficiently manage daily calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
    • Oversee email correspondence, prioritize action items, and ensure prompt follow-up.
    • Preparing documents to be reviewed and presented by the board of directors, executives and other committees
    • Assisting with meeting preparation and recording meeting times
    • Performing basic accounting tasks and booking travel for the CEO
    • Keeping records of corporate documents, records and reports
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all matters pertaining to the CEO, including those of a highly confidential or critical nature. Prioritize and determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response, exercising judgement to reflect CEO’s style and organization policy.
    • Work closely with the CEO to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. Act as a "barometer," having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the CEO updated. Anticipate CEO’s needs in advance of meetings, conferences, etc.
    • Replenish office materials such as snacks, printer supplies, paper, office supplies, etc.
    • Provide event management support as requested.
    • Other projects/duties as assigned by the CEO for the overall benefit of the organization.

    Requirements

    Educational Qualifications

    • Minimum bachelor’s degree required. Strong background in Business Administration/Management or any related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.

    Professional Qualification:

    • Significant executive support experience, including supporting C-level executives in a Fintech or Financial Insititution
    • Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information. 
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software; ability to design and edit graphic presentations and materials.
    • Technical proficiency and problem-solving skills related to IT infrastructure; IT support and troubleshooting; and cloud-based environments (web-based applications).
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    •  Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
    • High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, including Board members, senior executives, staff, community leaders, donors, and funded partners.
    • Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance.
    • Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
    • Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
