    Escort Driver

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a highly skilled, security-conscious, and hardworking Escort Driver to operate the escort vehicle for the GMD of a real estate company. 
    • The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of various vehicles and be responsible for ensuring the safe, secure, and punctual movement of the GMD, particularly for business meetings, site visits, events, and high-profile engagements, while maintaining a high level of professionalism, vigilance, and confidentiality.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the safe, secure, and timely transportation of the GMD using the designated escort vehicle for various engagements, including business meetings, site visits, events, and high-profile functions.
    • Ensure strict adherence to the GMD’s schedule to prevent delays and disruptions.
    • Maintain the escort vehicle in excellent condition, ensuring regular servicing, cleanliness, and upkeep.
    • Strictly comply with all traffic laws and security protocols to ensure the safety of the GMD and other road users.
    • Demonstrate strong situational awareness and security consciousness, anticipating potential risks and taking necessary precautions.
    • Assist during transportation, including handling luggage, coordinating movements with security personnel, and addressing any logistical needs.
    • Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities for the vehicle.
    • Plan and execute efficient travel routes to optimize time management and minimize disruptions to the GMD’s schedule.
    • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion in all activities.

    Requirements

    • Three to five years of proven experience as an Escort Driver, Executive Driver, or in a security-conscious driving role.
    • Minimum academic qualification of SSCE / OND.
    • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
    • Strong knowledge of various vehicle types, including escort and security vehicles.
    • Excellent familiarity with Lagos roads, particularly Victoria Island, Lekki, Ajah, Sangotedo, and surrounding areas.
    • Proficiency with GPS devices and route planning tools.
    • Strong physical capability to handle luggage and perform occasional manual tasks.
    • Availability for weekend or extended-hour shifts when necessary.
    • A high level of professionalism, discipline, and ability to remain calm in high-pressure or security-sensitive situations.
    • Must be highly security-conscious, vigilant, and capable of identifying potential threats.
    • Residency in Victoria Island, Ajah, Jakande, Chisco, or surrounding areas.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
    • Knowledge of the local real estate market, property types, pricing trends, and legal regulations.
    • Familiarity with CRM software or sales management tools is a plus.
    • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales goals, with a proactive and result-oriented mindset.
