    Internal Auditor

    QUALIFICATION: 

    • An HND/BSc degree in accounting
    • ACA would be an added advantage
    • Accreditation with institute of internal auditors

    EXPERIENCE: 

    • 5 years Minimum working experience in post internal auditing
    • Knowledge/experience in the oil and gas industry will be an added advantage. 
    • Experience in accounting and other accounting functions 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of the company's financial, operational, and compliance controls to ensure that they are functioning effectively and efficiently.
    • Review and analyze internal accounting policies and procedures to ensure  compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Examine the company’s financial statements to ensure compliance with generally  accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
    • Review and assess the company’s risk management process to ensure that the organization’s risks are being effectively managed.
    • Conduct audits of key business processes and financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Identify areas of potential fraud by analyzing financial transactions and identifying areas of potential weakness in the company's internal controls.
    • Report audit findings and recommendations to management and the audit committee to assist in improving the company's overall operations and financial performance.
    • Monitor and report on the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure corrective actions have been taken.
    • Develop and execute an annual audit plan to ensure that all critical functions of the organization are audited regularly.
    • Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure that the company's audit function remains current and effective.

    Account Officer

    QUALIFICATION: 

    • An HND/BSc degree in accounting
    • ACA would be an added advantage
    • Accreditation with ICAN

    EXPERIENCE: 

    • 5 years Minimum working experience in Finance
    • Knowledge/experience in the oil and gas industry will be an added advantage. 
    • Experience in accounting and other accounting functions 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Reconcile all bank transactions and ensure that all cheques or payment instructions as the case may be are lodged to ensure prompt payment to suppliers and staff. 
    • Execution of approved treasury payments for each week by preparing payment vouchers and ensuring cheques are signed off for the week, 
    • Daily bookkeeping which involves payment vouchers, keeping files, and other records.  
    • Daily posting of transactions, 
    • Preparing schedules for Statutory Payments/ remittances, 
    • To ensure a proper reconciliation exercise of cash flow to the bank by carrying out a proper reconciliation audit, 
    • Proper keeping of correspondence to Banks, Govt establishments, Vendors, etc.  
    • To ensure that funds are disbursed promptly, keeping to both the budget and approval process so that operations will be seamless, 
    • Daily transaction postings on Software to ensure that all transactions are captured to know both income and expenditure in a particular period. 
    • Remittance of Statutory Returns: PAYE, VAT, Withholding tax, Pension etc.

    Head Legal and Company Secretary

    QUALIFICATION: 

    • LLB, BL degree in Law
    • Knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry (added advantage)

    EXPERIENCE: 

    • At least 4-8 years of relevant experience in a corporate organization or reputable  law firm.
    • Sound knowledge of law and regulation relating to industry issues 
    • Strong interpersonal and people management skills 
    • Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and a strong appreciation of 
    • customer service
    • Professional disposition and ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality. 
    • Good Customer Service 
    • Knowledge/experience in the oil and gas industry will be an added advantage. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provision of company and general corporate law advisory services.
    • Providing legal and corporate counseling as well as written legal advice and opinions on  all matters.
    • Coordinating the legal affairs of the organization.
    • Serving as Company Secretary to the Board of Directors.
    • Reviewing and advising on all agreements, MOAs/MOUs, Pro-forma invoices, contracts, and other instruments or documents of a legal character.
    • Representing the organization before the public and/ or other bodies for the filing,
    • registration, initialing or recordation of any instrument, document or transaction to which the organization is a party both within and outside the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
    • In appropriate cases, liaising directly or otherwise with External Attorneys appointed by the Organization.
    • Ensuring the organization complies with statutory and legal requirements.
    • Liaising with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and other third parties on all legal matters on behalf of the organization.
    • Preparation of documentation on conveyances, acquisition of title to land /real estate, and registration of title to land.
    • Representation of organization in court, arbitration, mediation, or tribunal established by law.
    • Review of all identification and advising on all legislation affecting the organization's routine/day-to-day transactions.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILL;
