• The Instrumentation Technician at Dangote Cement Plc is responsible for ensuring that process instruments are in good shape.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain checklist, maintenance of individual instrument and equipment
• Calibration of field instruments (temperature, pressure, flow etc) and equipment (Weigh systems/ Deeders, Metal Detectors etc).
• Responsible for job juridiction and report any abnormalities to Sectional Head
• Ensure smooth running of the department in designated area.

Job Summary

• Dangote Cement Plc is seeking a Deputy General Manager, Mechanical for its Power Plant operations.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical maintenance of the power plant and ensuring optimal performance and reliability of equipment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules for all plant equipment, including gas turbines, compressors, gas generators, gas compressors, DM plant, Chiller, cooling tower and auxiliary systems.

• We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Analyst, Financial Assets & Liabilities to join our Finance team.
• In this role, you will oversee, manage, and ensure accurate accounting, valuation, reporting, and control of all financial assets and liabilities of Dangote Cement Plc in compliance with IFRS, Group Accounting Policies, Nigerian regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
• The role ensures integrity of the Statement of Financial Position, supports funding decisions, and enhances financial risk management across plants and corporate operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Assets Management:
Maintain accurate accounting and reconciliation of:

• Cash and bank balances
• Trade and other receivables
• Intercompany receivables
• Loans and advances
• Short-term and long-term financial investments
• Ensure proper classification and measurement of financial assets in line with IFRS 9 (Amortised Cost, FVOCI, FVTPL).
• Oversee Expected Credit Loss (ECL) computations, assumptions, impairment reviews, and documentation.
• Monitor ageing of receivables and work with Credit Control and Sales teams to minimize bad debts and overdue balances.
• Reconcile bank accounts, loan accounts, and investment balances on a timely basis.

Financial Liabilities Management:
Manage accounting for:

• Trade payables
• Intercompany payables
• Borrowings (short-term and long-term)
• Lease liabilities (IFRS 16)
• Accrued expenses and provisions
• Ensure accurate recognition, amortisation, and disclosure of:

Treasury & Funding Support:
Work closely with the Treasury team on:

• Loan drawdowns and repayments
• Cash flow forecasting

• Ensure correct accounting for foreign currency transactions and retranslation in line with IAS 21.
• Provide accounting input for new financing arrangements and major capital projects.

Internal Controls & Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with SOX-style controls, Group policies, and segregation of duties.
• Identify financial risks related to credit, liquidity, interest rate, and FX exposures.
• Support Internal Audit reviews and promptly close audit findings.

Audit & Regulatory Interface:
Serve as key liaison for:

• External auditors
• Internal auditors
• Regulators and financial institutions
• Provide audit schedules, reconciliations, confirmations, and explanations as required.
• Ensure timely resolution of audit queries and implementation of recommendations.

Team Leadership & Capacity Building:

• Supervise and mentor accounting officers responsible for assets and liabilities.

Education and Work Experience

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
• Professional certification in Accounting (ACA, ACCA) is an added advantage.
• 10 years relevant work experience in Accounting or Finance function.

• A Hydraulic Specialist is responsible for Operation, Maintenance, Trouble Shooting of hydraulic systems for FLS Coolers, IKN Coolers, Loesche VRM and OK Mills.
• They utilize their expertise in fluid mechanics, physics, and engineering principles to analyze and develop sustainable solutions for bulk material handling equipment (Stacker and Reclaimer), kilns clinker Cooler hydraulic systems.
• This role plays a crucial part in the planning and implementation of various hydraulic engineering projects, ensuring efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability. Exposure of Cement Plant Equipment Stacker Reclaimers, Rawmills, Kilns Coolers and Cement mill General Maintenance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Operation and Maintenance, Trouble shooting of  hydraulic system Problems, including, Stacker luffing/hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic hose, directional control valves and proportionate valve, Cooler Hydraulic Drives, VRM Hydraulic System.
• Conducting feasibility studies, including trouble shooting and assessments, to determine the viability and potential impacts of hydraulic faults.
• Collaborating with other engineers and professionals to develop comprehensive hydraulic designs and engineering plans in ensuring equipment reliability and optimization.
• Identifying and evaluating potential risks and hazards associated with hydraulic systems, and implementing appropriate safety measures.

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred.
• Above 15 years of experience in cement plant hydraulics Operation, maintenance and Trouble Shooting.
• Proven experience in hydraulic engineering, preferably in the design and maintenance of hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of study of Hydraulic Circuits /hydraulic Notations and Symbols relevant software and tools used in hydraulic engineering, such as AutoCAD, Microsoft office and SAP Module.
• Strong mathematical and computational skills.
• Familiarity with environmental impact assessment processes and regulations.
