    Instrumentation Technician

    We are looking for a skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and installation on a wide variety of instrumentation equipment used in our facilities.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems.
    • Troubleshoot instruments and control loops to ensure optimal performance.
    • Conduct routine inspections of instrumentation equipment to detect faults and provide corrective action.
    • Maintain detailed logs of instruments and calibration data.
    • Collaborate with engineers to upgrade instrumentation and improve processes.
    • Train and mentor junior technicians.
    • Participate in safety audits and adhere strictly to safety regulations.
    • Carry out other assigned tasks as required by Superiors.

    Requirements

    Education & Work Experience

    • SSCE + 8 yrs experience + Trade Test 1,2,3. OR Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, or related field) or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 2- 5 years of work experience in instrumentation within an industrial setting.

    Skills & Competencies

    • Strong knowledge of calibration standards, maintenance practices, and safety protocols.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to work independently and in team settings.
    • Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and instrumentation software.

    Fuel Monitoring Analyst, Mines

    To maintain the accuracy of fuel consumption throughout the company's mining vehicle fleet, responsibilities include monitoring data from installed fuel sensors, analyzing trends and anomalies, and reporting suspected instances of fuel misapplication or sabotage to management for timely intervention.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Consistently analyze both real-time and historical data gathered from fuel sensors installed in all company vehicles.
    • Investigate fuel consumption patterns to detect any irregularities, inefficiencies, or suspicious activities.
    • Assess fuel usage data in conjunction with trip logs, vehicle assignments, and expected consumption benchmarks.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Logistics, or a similar discipline.
    • At least 1 - 3 years of experience in fleet operations, data analysis, or logistics oversight.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Skilled in data analysis tools and knowledgeable about GPS and fuel monitoring systems.
    • Prepare detailed reports, summaries, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
