    Instrument Designer

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time, on-site role for an Instrument Designer located in Port Harcourt.
    • The Instrument Designer will be responsible for preparing instrumentation designs, creating loop diagrams, developing and reviewing Smart Plant Instrumentation systems, and supporting plant and refinery projects.
    • Additionally, they will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate designs and compliance with industry standards.

    Qualifications

    • Proficiency in Instrumentation, including developing and interpreting detailed designs and specifications
    • Experience with Plant Design and familiarity with refineries operations
    • Expertise in Smart Plant Instrumentation software and creating Loop Diagrams
    • Strong ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and address design challenges
    • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices in instrumentation and design
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant technical field
    • Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality technical documentation

    Mechanical Designer

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical/Piping Designer based in Port Harcourt.
    • The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for creating technical drawings, designing machinery, and collaborating with engineering teams to develop innovative solutions.
    • Additionally, the role involves utilising Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, participating in Research and Development (R&D), and ensuring designs meet engineering standards and specifications.

    Qualifications

    • Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Machine Design
    • Solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles
    • Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
    • Background in Research and Development (R&D) for innovative mechanical solutions
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
    • Experience in the oilfield or energy sector is a valuable asset
    • At least 7 years of experience in the oil and gas business
