 Job Description
Configure, enhance and operate the enterprise network infrastructure, diagnostic tools, automation, and recovery systems using standard or proprietary scripting and utilities. Responsible for complex analysis and resolution of escalated problems within the department.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote support to our geographically diverse nationwide clients using industry standard remote connections, internal ticketing system, monitoring consoles and more
• Provide on- site support to our clients in the company’s locations.
• Assist both client end users and IT staff with a broad range of computer application problems, server issues, virtualization, SAN issues, networking issues, security issues and more
• Escalate issues and interact closely with third-party vendors and other team members helping manage the resolution of complex client issues
• Initiate and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on more complex user issues for one-time resolution
• Contribute to special internal facing projects, as assigned, to facilitate the growth of the Support Practice Group
• Provide regional local on-site client support, as necessary
• Limited (non-regional) travel may be occasionally required.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
• Network design and implementation
• Comprehensive knowledge of LAN/WAN Technologies
• Deep understanding of Cisco Products - Cisco Nexus, Cisco IOS, Routing, Switching experience
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• WAN (Wide Area Network) environments configuration and management: MPLS, QoS, BGP, DMVPN
• Wireless, LAN, Voice, Telephone Services

Job Description
Planning, implementing, upgrading, or monitoring security measures for the protection of computer networks and information. This role ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure. May respond to computer security breaches and viruses.

Responsibilities

• Performing analysis of network security needs and contributes to design, integration, and installation of hardware and software.
• Analyzing, troubleshooting and correcting network problems remotely and on-site.
• Maintaining and administering perimeter security systems such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Confer with users to discuss issues such as computer data access needs, security violations, and programming changes.
• Document computer security and emergency measures policies, procedures, and tests.
• Train users and promote security awareness to ensure system security and to improve server and network efficiency.
• Coordinate implementation of computer system plan with establishment personnel and outside vendors.
• Monitor use of data files and regulate access to safeguard information in computer files.
• Modify computer security files to incorporate new software, correct errors, or change individual access status.
• Perform risk assessments and execute tests of data processing system to ensure functioning of data processing activities and security measures.
• Develop plans to safeguard computer files against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure and to meet emergency data processing needs.
• Monitor current reports of computer viruses to determine when to update virus protection systems.
• Encrypt data transmissions and erect firewalls to conceal confidential information as it is being transmitted and to keep out tainted digital transfers.
• Review violations of computer security procedures and discuss procedures with violators to ensure violations are not repeated.

• Bachelor degree (or equivalent in job experience) in computer science or related field and ten years’ experience in network architecture, information security architecture and support and project management.
• Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in security systems architecture and implementation

Preferred Qualification
Technical certifications such as the MCSE, CCNP/CCIE and JNCIP-SP/JNCIE. Certifications such as ITIL and Six Sigma are added advantage.
