    Information Technology Officer

    Job Summary

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our website and computer systems, ensuring that they are running efficiently, and providing prompt assistance to resolve any technical issues that arise.

    Job Description

    • Manage the company's website and internet provider.
    • Provide technical support to employees with hardware, software, and network
    • Implements security measures to protect computer systems from viruses and unauthorized access issues
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network connectivity, printers, and other hardware
    • Perform regular backups and ensure data is stored securely.
    • Implement and maintain security protocols and procedures.
    • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technological solutions to enhance company operations.
    • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the company remains competitive
    • Keeps up to date with advancements in computing technology and recommends upgrades or changes as necessary.
    • Install and configure computer hardware and software systems.
    • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
    • Maintain an inventory of hardware and software licenses.
    • Train employees on basic computer skills and software applications.
    • Provide remote support for employees who work off-site.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • 3 - 5 years of working experience as an Information Technology Officer.
    • Proven experience as an IT Staff or similar role.
    • Familiarity with networking protocols and systems.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Must live within the Agbara area.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
    • Familiarity with website design and social media platforms is a plus.

    Accounting Manager

    Job Description

    • Monitorand analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
    • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
    • Coordinate and complete annual audits.
    • Provide recommendations.
    • Improve systems and procedures andinitiatecorrective actions.
    • Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
    • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, half-year, and annual management reports.
    • Meet financial accounting objectives.
    • Adhered to established policies, procedures, and compliance for statutory audit rating.
    • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
    • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end-year processes, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc in Accounting from a reputable institution.
    • 9 - 12 years of working experience as an Accountant.
    • Proven working experience as Accounting Manager or Finance Manager.
    • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases
    • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
    • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
    • Must live within the Agbara area.
    • Good team player and resourceful in project completion
    • Ability to direct and supervise
    • Must be a Chartered Accountant
    • Efficient leadership and interpersonal skills.
