    Information and Communication Officer

    Job Description

    • The IT Officer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, security, and reliability of the company’s information technology systems.
    • The role involves maintaining hardware, software, and networks, providing technical support to users, implementing IT policies, and supporting the company’s digital transformation goals.
    • The officer ensures data security, system efficiency, and compliance with all regulatory and corporate IT standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • The IT Officer shall install, configure, and maintain the company’s computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure. He or she will monitor system performance and security, ensuring regular data backups and disaster recovery readiness.
    • The officer will provide technical support to staff across all departments, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly while maintaining detailed logs of IT incidents and resolutions.
    • He or she will oversee the inventory and maintenance of all IT assets such as computers, routers, printers, and software licenses, ensuring all systems are up to date and operating efficiently.
    • The IT Officer will manage data integrity, confidentiality, and security, implementing appropriate access controls and training staff on cybersecurity best practices.
    • The officer will also support the implementation of enterprise systems such as QuickBooks, Odoo ERP, and other digital platforms used for business operations.
    • In addition, the IT Officer will assist in process automation, document digitization, and integration of AI-driven tools that enhance operational efficiency.
    • The officer is expected to enforce IT policies and procedures, carry out routine IT audits, and report any non-conformances to management in line with ISO and regulatory standards.

    Requirements
    Educational Qualification:

    • Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional will be an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • A minimum of two to four (2–4) years of practical experience in IT support, systems administration, or network management is required. Experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or corporate environment will be an added advantage.

    Other Requirements:

    • The candidate must be reliable, honest, and discreet in handling company data. The role may require occasional weekend or after-hours maintenance work.
    • The officer must be able to work independently or as part of a team and demonstrate initiative in solving technical challenges.

    Required Skills and Competencies:

    • The role requires strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, networking (LAN/WAN), and system administration. The IT Officer should be proficient in Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and database management, and must be able to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively.
    • Knowledge of ERP systems, QuickBooks, and cybersecurity principles is essential.
    • The position demands analytical thinking, attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask under pressure.
    • A proactive attitude toward continuous learning and adapting to new technologies is highly desirable.

    Remuneration

    • The remuneration for this position is competitive and based on industry standards.
    • It includes a monthly salary range of N70,000- N150,000 depending on experience, IT maintenance allowance, performance incentives, and other statutory benefits.

    Business Development Manager

    Job Description

    • The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the company through new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and increased market share.
    • The role involves identifying potential clients, developing business proposals, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
    • The BDM will also play a critical role in planning, developing, and executing business strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives and ensure the company’s competitiveness in the pharmaceutical industry.

    Key Responsibilities

    • The Business Development Manager shall develop and implement strategies to expand the company’s market presence and product reach across various regions. He or she will identify and evaluate potential clients, distributors, institutional buyers, and partnership opportunities.
    • The role involves preparing business proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to client needs while ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies.
    • The BDM will oversee key accounts, maintain strong relationships with existing clients, and ensure excellent after-sales service to build long-term loyalty.
    • He or she will conduct periodic market and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, product gaps, and opportunities for diversification or product innovation.
    • The Manager will collaborate closely with the Production, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, and Finance teams to ensure seamless coordination from product development to market delivery.
    • The officer is expected to lead and motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve assigned targets, develop regional distribution plans, and manage the performance of field sales representatives.
    • In addition, the Business Development Manager will monitor sales performance metrics, prepare monthly business reports, and present progress updates to management.
    • The role also entails representing the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and professional meetings to promote brand visibility and partnerships.

    Required Skills and Competencies:

    • The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. He or she should have strong analytical abilities and a deep understanding of market dynamics and sales forecasting.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and data-driven decision-making is essential. The candidate must demonstrate leadership qualities, team coordination skills, and the ability to deliver under pressure.
    • Strong business acumen, creativity in identifying new markets, and a good understanding of regulatory and distribution requirements in the pharmaceutical industry are critical competencies.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in developing new markets, managing distribution networks, and achieving measurable sales growth is essential.

    Other Requirements:

    • The candidate must possess a high level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to organizational goals.
    • He or she should be result-oriented, innovative, and willing to travel extensively within Nigeria and beyond for business engagements.
    • A valid driver’s license and familiarity with regional markets will be an added advantage.

    Remuneration

    • Remuneration is competitive and commensurate with experience and industry standards.
    • The package typically includes a monthly salary in the range of N200,000 – N300,000, performance-based incentives, communication and transport allowances, and other statutory benefits.
