    Human Resource and Administrative Assistant

    Job Summary

    • We are looking to employ an HR officer with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • The HR officer is expected to be knowledgeable about employment legislation and possess strategic and commercial insight into the labour process and general HR functions.
    • She / he must be able to negotiate with diplomacy and will be responsible for managing every aspect of the employment process, including, orientation, and training of new staff members, and managing payroll.

    Responsibilities

    • Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the recruitment process.
    • Orienting New employees and training existing employees.
    • Developing learning & development strategies for building organizational capacity.
    • Monitoring & supervising employee performance alongside team leads.
    • Ensuring that all team members are organized and satisfied in their work environment.
    • Overseeing the health and safety of all employees.
    • Implementing systematic staff development procedures.
    • Providing counseling/orientation on policies and procedures.
    • Ensuring meticulous implementation of payroll and benefits administration.
    • Communicating with staff about issues affecting their performance.
    • Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources.
    • Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in human resources.
    • Additional training/certification in Human Resources e.g. CIPM, S/PHRi, CIPD, SHRM, GPHR
    • Knowledge of employment legislations and labour laws.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.

    Finance and Admin Intern - Pre NYSC / NYSC

    Summary

    • We seek an enthusiastic Finance or Accounting graduate interested in pursuing a long-term career in Finance and Accounting to join our team.
    • The Finance & Admin Intern will assist in overseeing the company’s financials and administrative operations and reporting.
    • S/he will provide finance services to the whole organization, addressing all issues of a financial nature and providing relevant ideas and information to external demands.

    Responsibilities

    • Processing work orders, supplier invoices, purchase orders, expense claims, account payments, and payroll.
    • Assisting the financial management team with credit control processes, budget planning, and expense analysis.
    • Maintaining a digital record of all financial transactions, documents, and supplier information.
    • Coordinating daily financial tasks with the financial management team to optimize workflow.
    • Maintaining an organized and comfortable office environment, ordering office supplies, and updating inventory.
    • Managing changes of staff members’ financial information if needed.
    • Compiling financial data to prepare monthly revenue reports and ensuring that client accounts are accurate and up to date.

    Qualification and Skills

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Banking & Finance, Business Administration or any related field.
    • Must have at least 6 months professional experience in financial management.
    • Experience working with a non-profit organization or donor-funded projects is an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of IFRS and prior experience in the use of QuickBooks is desirable.
    • Proficiency in computer skills, especially in MS Office products (Excel, Word, etc.)
    • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency in mind.
    • High levels of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

    Administrative Assistant

    Description

    • We are looking for an organized and self-motivated Office Administrator who will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office personnel.
    • The office administrator’s role will include working closely with all teams by handling clerical duties, asset/inventory management, vendor engagement, procurement, support staff management as well as front desk management.
    • In order to be successful in this position you should be detail-oriented, professional and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
