We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Business Development Executive to drive sales growth and expand market presence for our Medical Consumables, Hospital Equipment & Furniture, and Patient Aids/Mobility Rehabilitation Aids portfolio within the Lagos Island territory.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, promoting products, and achieving sales targets while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and engage prospective customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and social selling activities.
Promote and demonstrate product features, benefits, and value propositions to healthcare institutions and other potential customers.
Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and close sales opportunities to achieve or exceed assigned sales targets.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned product categories and monitor competitor activities and market trends.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Support market penetration initiatives and identify opportunities to increase customer adoption across the product portfolio.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales representation within the medical equipment, medical consumables, or healthcare industry.
Demonstrated understanding of medical consumables, hospital equipment and furniture, and patient aids/mobility rehabilitation products.
