    Head of Projects

    Job Summary

    • Our client, is seeking an experienced Head of Projects to lead and oversee multiple construction projects.
    • The ideal candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership across project managers, engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to world-class quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and oversee multiple high-rise and mid-rise construction projects
    • Supervise project managers, engineers, and contractors
    • Ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards
    • Provide technical oversight on structural, civil, and construction matters
    • Monitor project budgets, contractor performance, and cost control
    • Ensure compliance with building regulations, safety, and environmental standards
    • Report project performance and risks to executive leadership.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Building Engineering
    • 10–15 years construction experience
    • 5–7 years managing multiple large-scale building projects
    • Experience delivering high-rise residential or commercial developments
    • Professional certifications (PMP, COREN, CIOB, RICS) are an advantage.

    Accountant

    Job Summary

    • They are seeking to hire an Accountant to join their team.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting to support business decisions within the maritime industry.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.

    Expatriate - Project Manager

    About the Role

    • Our client seeks an experienced Expatriate Project Manager (Civil/Construction/Building Engineer) to lead and successfully deliver high-rise building projects and the company’s ongoing development from conception to completion.
    • This role requires a hands-on leader with proven international exposure, strong technical depth, and the ability to manage complex multi-level high rise projects, terraces and detached houses.

    Key Responsibilities
    Project Leadership & Execution:

    • Lead end-to-end delivery of high-rise building projects (foundation to finishing).
    • Develop and implement detailed project execution plans, timelines, and cost controls.
    • Ensure strict adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and quality benchmarks.
    • Coordinate architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
    • Must be well acquainted with use and installation of modern machines in the development of high rise.

    Construction Management:

    • Oversee on-site activities to ensure quality, safety, and productivity.
    • Monitor daily site operations and proactively mitigate delays or risks.
    • Supervise contractors and enforce performance standards and accountability.
    • Ensure compliance with Nigerian building regulations and international best practices.

    Cost & Risk Management:

    • Monitor budgets and ensure projects are delivered within approved financial parameters.
    • Identify and manage construction risks, cost overruns, and scope variations.
    • Review and approve contractor valuations and progress certifications.

    Quality & Compliance:

    • Implement world-class quality assurance and quality control systems.
    • Ensure strict HSE compliance across all project phases.
    • Maintain documentation and reporting aligned with international standards.

    Stakeholder Management:

    • Provide structured progress reports to executive leadership.
    • Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies when required.
    • Maintain strong relationships with consultants and suppliers.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Building Engineering.
    • 5–8 years total experience in construction.
    • 4–5 years proven experience managing high-rise building projects.
    • Demonstrated experience in emerging markets (Africa experience is an advantage).
    • Professional certifications (PMP, CIOB, RICS, COREN equivalent) are an added advantage.

    Required Competencies:

    • Exceptional attention to detail.
    • Strong ability to supervise and manage multiple high rise building projects and other development.
    • Deep understanding of modern construction trends, technologies, and methodologies.
