Furniture Installer at RA Trading

Job Description

• We are looking for a qualified Furniture Installerto cut, fabricate, and install wooden and other structures according to specifications.
• Your job will entail working in the factory to produce quality and functional furniture products

Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints, sketches, and design specifications.
• Choose appropriate materials (wood, metal, fabric, etc.) based on design and functionality.
• Inspect materials for quality and suitability.
• Measure and mark materials according to specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, and form parts.
• Assemble parts using nails, screws, adhesives, and other fasteners.
• Ensure joints are secure and pieces fit together correctly.
• Inspect completed pieces for accuracy, quality, and adherence to design specifications.
• Make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Maintain and repair tools and equipment.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Work closely with other team members, including designers, carpenters, and finishers.
• Provide input on design improvements and production processes.
• Use protective equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain detailed logs of work processes and completed tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE and Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or a minimum of 4years of experience as a carpenter.
• Additional certification, such as a trade test, may be required
• An analytical mind for problem-solving
• The ability to work alone or as part of a small team
• Ability to follow instructions closely
• Attention to detail.
