Job Summary:

• Broadoaks British School is seeking a warm, professional, and organized Front Desk Officer to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff. The ideal candidate will manage the front office with courtesy and efficiency, ensuring a positive experience for all who enter the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and attend to parents, students, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and general inquiries promptly.
• Maintain the reception area and ensure it is clean, welcoming, and stocked with relevant school materials.
• Manage appointment schedules and assist with meeting coordination.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and official school correspondence.
• Maintain visitor logs and ensure school security and sign-in protocols are followed.

• Provide general support to the admin team​ and other departments as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of an OND or equivalent; a degree in Administration or related field is an added advantage.
• Prior experience in a school or customer service/front office role is preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Calm and composed, especially in handling inquiries and managing busy front desk hours.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

• The After school Programme lead will manage the planning, supervision and delivery of activities, homework help and care for pupils attending the After school programme.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and deliver activities, games and crafts
• Support pupils with homework and reading tasks
• Coordinate the supervision of pupils during activities, snacks and outdoor play
• Ensure student safety and supervision.
• Manage behaviour management and conflict resolution
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Manage administrative tasks and programme preparation
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive programme.
• Encourage positive behaviour
• Prepare and maintain activity resources
• Ebsure students are safely picked up by authorized individuals.
