    HR Intern

    HR Intern

    Palmpay is looking for an HR Intern to perform various administrative tasks and support our HR department’s daily activities.

    HR Intern responsibilities include updating our employee records with new hire information, screening resumes and scheduling interviews. If you’re interested in kickstarting your career in HR and getting a closer look of how our company approaches payroll, recruiting and employee development, we’d like to meet you.

    Ultimately, you will assist in organizing and coordinating our HR policies and procedures.

    Responsibilities

    • Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
    • Gather payroll data like absenteeism, leaves, working hours, tax IDs and bank accounts
    • Screen resumes and application forms
    • Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates
    • Post, update and remove job ads from job boards, careers pages and social networks
    • Prepare HR-related reports as needed (like training budgets by department)
    • Address employee queries about benefits (like number of remaining vacation days)
    • Review and distribute company policies in digital formats or hard copies
    • Participate in organizing company events and careers days

    Requirements

    • Experience as a Staff Assistant or similar junior HR role is a plus
    • Familiarity with HRIS, ATS and resume databases
    • Experience with MS Office Suite (MS Excel is of outmost importance)
    • Good understanding of full-cycle recruiting
    • Basic knowledge of labor legislation
    • Organizational skills
    • BSc in Human Resources Management or similar field

    The BI Analyst

    The BI Analyst

    Palmpay is searching for someone who will work with business leaders and POS users and consumers to identify reporting and analytical requirements, independently developing business requirement documents as well as technical/functional specifications, and developing PowerBI reports and dashboards to meet these requirements.

    If you have a deep understanding of wrangling business data to deliver powerful insights and want to work with creative freedom to shape a growing platform in a fast-paced environment, you may be right for this role.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Design, build, deliver and maintain world-class reporting for all areas of the business using Power BI
    • Participates in business and executive meetings to gather requirements and make recommendations reporting/BI solutions.
    • Translate business needs into high-level technical specifications and design.
    • Develop deep understanding of the various business processes, data sets and BI deliverables
    • Use knowledge of the specific data available, forecasting/analysis methods and visualization capabilities to enhance requirements and provide insightful suggestions to business stakeholders
    • Prep, ingest, cleanse and maintain data in the data warehouse for efficient delivery to Power BI
    • Prioritize, deliver and maintain all Power BI reporting projects companywide
    • Assists in the daily support of end-users’ ability to effectively and efficiently utilize the reporting platform

    Required Qualifications:

    • Working knowledge of BI and data warehouse concepts and terminology
    • Experience building complex reports in Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms
    • Experience with analytical programming languages such as SQL, Python or R
    • Proficiency with MS Applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently
    • Capable of prioritizing multiple projects while still achieving deadlines
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Detail-oriented person who is passionate about quality and enthusiastic about new technology
    • Priority consideration for candidates with any of the following background:
    • Prior experience in the FINTECH industry
    • Prior experience specifically using Power BI to build complex, interactive reports
    • Prior experience publishing Power BI reports to the Power BI service for reporting consumers
    • Experience with Azure SQL Data Warehouse/Azure Synapse
    • Experience working with data from POS Machines, CRMs or other related systems
