• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND qualification with 3 - 4 years work experience.
• Experience in Biscuit Production, Packing Machine, Oven and Backing, Wrapping machine is highly preferred.
• Ability to operate machines to ensure that daily/shift production targets are met with minimal wastage and optimal output
• Knowledge of calibration of equipment and monitoring of equipment performance
• Ability to attend to machines functionalities to correctly produce the desired results
• Understanding of set up and adherence to cleaning and maintenance schedules of machines to prevent failures
• Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication and Tightening (CILT) on machines components at schedule intervals
• Solid use of documentation and processes.

• Experience in Biscuit Production, Packing Machine, Tunnel Oven, Weishaupt Burner and Backing, Wrapping machine, PLC, SCADA and Mitsubishi and Siemens automation system and instrumentation is highly preferred.
• Good grasp of design, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of electronic and electrical equipment/systems
• Sound knowledge of SCADA system
• Ability to install control room and its equipment
• Understanding and previous experience in PLC, Programming, Control and Instrumentation as well as Shooting/Rectification/if required re-programming
• Generators and synchronization troubleshooting.

Job Requirements
The following competencies are required for the role:

• HND qualification in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-8 years’ Experience in Biscuit Production, Packing Machine, Tunnel Oven, Weishaupt Burner and Baking, Wrapping machine, Electric gear motors and Utilities (Generator, WTP and Compressors)
• Instrumentation and control competency will be an added advantage.
• Promptly attend to any electrical faults on production lines with minimum time required
• Periodically carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment
• Troubleshoot and replace faulty electrical components of machines such as frequency drives, motors programmable logic controllers etc
• Documentation and analysis of test results such as infrared thermometer readings.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Draft quality assurance policies and procedures
• Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures
• Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards
• Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
• Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
• Monitor risk management activities
• Responsible for document management systems
• Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with a minimum of 4 years work experience.
• Certifications an advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six sigma
• Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience
• Experience with implementation of corrective action programs
• Product or industry-specific experience
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, QA applications and databases
• Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
• Solid experience in effective usage of data analysis tools and statistical analysis
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
