As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and providing accurate financial information to support the organization's operations.
Your role will involve monitoring financial data, preparing financial statements, analyzing trends, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and revenue recognition
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Perform risk assessments and recommend strategies to mitigate financial risks
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
Assist in the coordination of external audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and best practices.
Review and reconcile bank statements on a regular basis
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (ICAN or ACCA certification is a plus).
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations (GAAP).
Proficiency in using accounting software (Zoho, QuickBooks or similar).
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.

Your primary responsibility will be to create a welcoming and productive environment for our members, overseeing various aspects of the space to ensure their needs are met.
You will be the heartbeat of our co-working community, fostering collaboration, and ensuring a positive experience for all.
Responsibilities:
Member Services: Greet and assist members and guests, addressing their inquiries, providing tours, and offering support throughout their stay.
Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the co-working space, meeting rooms, and common areas to ensure a comfortable and professional atmosphere.
Event Coordination: Organize and coordinate events, workshops, and networking opportunities to promote community engagement and member interaction.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring the timely delivery of services and resolving any issues that may arise.
Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties, including billing, invoicing, and membership onboarding, with a keen eye for detail.
Health and Safety: Implement and maintain safety protocols, including emergency procedures and adherence to health regulations.
Community Building: Foster a sense of community among members, encouraging collaboration and networking opportunities.
Space Optimization: Continuously evaluate the space usage and suggest improvements to enhance member experience and increase efficiency.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the co-working or hospitality industry.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to engage with members and team members effectively.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in using productivity tools and software.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing circumstances.
Knowledge of Lagos and its local business landscape is a plus.
