    Manager Accounts

    Job Overview:

    • We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven individual to join our team as a Manager (Accounts) at our Head Office in Ibadan, Oyo State. As a middle-level manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the overall financial management of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and audit coordination. The role also involves analyzing financial performance, supervising accounting operations, and providing strategic input to aid decision-making in line with the company’s financial goals and regulatory obligations.

    Job Description

    • Prepare monthly Profit and Loss Accounts, Balance Sheet, and Final Accounts in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
    • Maintain and update fixed asset registers, prepare asset disposal schedules, and ensure accurate depreciation accounting.
    • Conduct regular bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow positions, and ensure the integrity of financial records.
    • Support the preparation of annual budgets, monitor variances, and provide reports to support management decisions.
    • Ensure the timely filing of VAT, WHT, CIT, and other statutory obligations in compliance with FIRS and state tax requirements.
    • Support and liaise with external auditors, address audit queries, and implement recommended internal control improvements.
    • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll postings, and general ledger maintenance to ensure accuracy and compliance.

    Qualification & Required Skills  

    • A first degree (BSc. /HND) in Accounting with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division / Lower Credit
    • Possession of a relevant professional qualification such as ICAN/ACCA, is MANDATORY
    • Minimum of 5–10 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to pay attention to details
    • Not more than 40 years of age

    Accounts Officer

    Job Overview:

    • We are currently seeking a competent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounts Officer at our Head Office in Ibadan. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions in compliance with company policies, reconciling accounts, and supporting depot operations through sound financial reporting and analysis. He or she will work closely with the Head Office Finance Team to ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.

    Job Description 

    • Monitoring and reconciliation of customers balances
    • Monitoring account receivables and ensure prompt collection of payment on credit sales
    • Preparation and reconciliation of depot float account
    • Reconcile all depot transaction accounts
    • Write daily, weekly and monthly reports
    • Filing and payments of staff Monthly/Annual Statutory deductions
    • Ensure compliance with established controls and policies at the Depot and report contravention(s) immediately
    • Perform other related duties as may be assigned

    Qualification & Required Skills  

    • A relevant first degree (BSc/HND) in Accounting with a minimum of second-class lower division/lower credit.
    • At least three (3) years post qualification experience in a similar position.
    • Membership of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria will be an added advantage
    • Not more than 35 years of age
    • Must have the ability to pay attention to details
    • Proficiency in statistical analysis
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Must be pro-active and versatile
    • Applicants must be resident in Ibadan
