    Internal Auditor

    Locations: Port Harcourt - Rivers, Benin - Edo, Uyo - Akwa Ibom, Ibadan - Oyo, Onitsha - Anambra

    Job Description

    • The Resident internal Auditor is responsible for advising all levels of management on the company’s systems of internal control and management of business risk within assigned location.
    • The internal auditor supports managements business objectives and the need for overall assurance on the quality and cost effectiveness of internal controls.

    Responsibilities
    The Internal Auditor is expected to carry out constant reviews and spot checks designed to ensure that:

    • The company’s assets are safeguarded from significant losses, including those caused by fraud, waste, inefficiency and commercially unsound practices.
    • Relevant laws, policies, rules, regulations and other procedural routines are complied with.
    • Operations are conducted effectively, efficiently and economically in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
    • Management information system are reliable and secure.
    • Systems under development are monitored that appropriate internal controls are built in and are consistent with the company’s business needs.
    • Significant business risk are effectively managed; and
    • Major business projects achieve their objectives.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of second class lower.

    • Fraud prevention techniques
    • Analytical skills
    • Reporting writing skills
    • Excellent communication skills.

    Unit Accountant

    Locations: Abuja, Port Harcourt - Rivers, Ughelli and Sapele - Delta, Ilorin - Kwara, Eket - Akwa Ibom, Lagos Island, Lekki, Ajah and Sangotedo - Lagos, Benin - Edo, Onitsha - Anambra and Abakaliki - Ebonyi

    Job Description

    • The role holder will represent the accounting and treasury functions at assigned business units and safeguard the company’s current assets .

    Responsibilities
    Major responsibilities will include:

    • Safe handling and bank lodgement of cash receipts into company’s bank accounts daily.
    • Inventory Accounting.
    • Retrieval of data and information from source documents, maintaining and updating of operating records to enable the preparation of various accounting reports.
    • Posting of data in Sage ERP – company’s Enterprise Resource Planning Software such as sales, invoices, transfers, stock receipts and issuance, expenses, and other unit level transactions.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of second class lower.

    Required Skills:

    • Microsoft Excel Skills
    • Working knowledge of accounting software or ERPs.

    • The role holder is responsible for planning, sourcing, buying, and distributing materials for assigned units and product categories thereby ensuring the specified materials are available on time every time and at the right price to meet customer demand.
    • The buyer will study and fully understand the materials usage in relations to the revenue for every unit to maximize profits.

    Responsibilities
    Major responsibilities will include:

    • Regular sourcing of key raw materials and stock for the best available deals within budgeted prices, quantities, timelines, acceptable payment terms and in compliance with approved material specifications and operational demands.
    • Supplier recruitment and management.
    • Effective Demand planning and supply logistics management.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in any course.
    • Professional certification in supply chain management.

    Required Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Negotiation Skills.
    • Working knowledge of Enterprise resource planning system.
