Summary

• Responsible for managing the receipt, storage and local shipping of parts.
• The incumbent will also be responsible for managing local purchases and local vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day operation and maintenance of plants both in our customers’ sites.
• Liaise with customers in proffering solutions to their plant problems.
• Ensure that suitable spare parts are always used.
• Provide support for Field Service Engineers during maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure close monitoring of engine performance and respond promptly to any irregularities to prevent unnecessary shutdowns.
• Ensure all required technical / e-training program assigned are achieved at due time.

Required Qualification and Experience

• OND or City & Guilds finals in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 3 years’ experience in a service or other Engineering organizations

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Good knowledge of Power Generation systems
• High customer-orientation, efficient and target-oriented way of working
• High degree of self-motivation, flexibility, dynamism, responsibility and ownership of tasks
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Basic level of computer skills including MS Word and Excel

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales of generators, machines, equipment, and automobiles
• Proven sales track record
• Strong technical understanding of power generation equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients, Problem-solving skills, etc.
