    Primary School Teacher

    Description

    Our Client based in Isolo Lagos is looking to hire a teacher who is responsible for presenting and explaining learning materials and educating students on new subjects, and will also communicate their subject matter by using lectures, printed, visual, audio, and/or video materials.

    Responsibilities

    • Cultivate a hunger for knowledge among students and engage them to learn
    • Encourage curiosity and continued improvement
    • Help set goals for students and work with the class to help them attain these goals
    • Keep an organized and orderly classroom that promotes creativity and learning
    • Plan curriculum for the school year
    • Create and prepare daily lesson plans for appropriate age and learning skill level, making adjustments when needed
    • Create and/or print out instructional material for classroom use
    • Lead daily lesson plans, teaching the intended subject matter, and answer any questions the students may have
    • Keep track of roles and ensure students are attending and participating in class
    • Assign work by means of in-class worksheets, projects, homework, presentations, reports, etc.
    • Assess performance by grading work and giving tests
    • Keep grading book and submit at end of each term
    • Help students one-on-one who need extra assistance
    • Enforce administration and school-wide policies
    • Set classroom rules and expectations
    • Discipline students (according to school policy) when necessary
    • Be active in the school community and events
    • Participate in teaching training sessions and stay up to date with current teaching methods, practices, and any new knowledge in your field
    • Report to school board committees
    • Set up and lead teacher/parent student-assessment conferences

    Competency/Skill/Requirements

    • Must have BEd, BS, HND, or NCE qualification
    • Must have good class control
    • Age range 25 - 35 years
    •  A compassionate and confident leader
    • Very strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Clear, consistent, and respectful communicator
    • Attentive listener
    • Creative and able to create a fun learning environment
    • High level of patience with experience as a mediator
    • Keeps a positive attitude and can control emotions
    • Efficient time management
    • Ability to take on many tasks at once and prioritize them by importance and relevance

    • Salary range 35,000 - 40,000 Naira

    Logistics/Distribution Manager (FMCG)

    Description

    Our client is a distribution company in the FMCG sphere looking to hire a logistics and distribution manager. The person will be required to organize the storage and distribution of goods.  ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost. The individual may also be involved in transportation, stock control, warehousing, and monitoring the flow of goods. The key task is to organize the safe and efficient storage and distribution of goods, and to ensure that orders are fulfilled (carried out) correctly. will analyze logistical problems and plan transportation routes for vehicles carrying goods, for example.

    Responsibilities

    • Planning and implementing logistical strategy, ensuring targets are met
    • Overseeing product storage, handling, and distribution
    • Using computer software to track goods from origin to delivery
    • Working on forecasts and inventories, keeping an accurate record of the process, and analyzing performance
    • Managing and motivating a team of supply chain staff
    • Improving the overall supply chain performance and looking for any possible innovations to the process
    • Implementing new technologies and staying alert to new trends in the sector.
    • Develop and implement a logistics process.
    • Oversee warehouse operations.

    • Direct the activities of the logistics division.
    • Collaborate with marketing executives to ensure that new products reach the right markets at the optimal time.
    • Ensure goods are stored properly and at the right temperature.
    • Conduct market research to learn about the demand for different goods.
    • Determine what goods sell best to commercial businesses and consumers.
    • Decide appropriate quantities of items to stock.
    • Vigilant about streamlining operating efficiency, error, and increased productivity

    Competency/Skill/Requirements

    • Minimum first degree
    • A bachelor’s degree in logistics and supply chain management will be an added advantage
    • Must  possess 5years’operational experience in logistics
    • A logical and systematic approach to work
    • Solid knowledge of logistics procedures 
    • Experience in directing and evaluating subordinates
    • Good time management ability.
    • The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative solutions
    • Commercial awareness and numeracy skills
    • Ability to handle the pressure of meeting deadlines
    • Strong understanding of safety culture and management.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team, as well as manage people
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
    • Negotiation and analytical skills
