    IT Network Officer

    Job Summary

    • Working as a member of a dynamic team, you will be the first point of contact for any network and server related issues. You will be required to configure and install network devices and servers. Troubleshoot faults on the critical devices and solve technical problems, either through remote or physical intervention. A strong customer focus and a “can do” attitude is desirable and excellent communication skills are essential.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Setting up of new servers including RAID configuration and Windows Server OS installation.
    • Deployment of Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and 2019 operating systems 
    • Configuration and deployment of Cisco Routers and Switches. 
    • Knowledge of Microsoft System Configuration Centre Manager (SCCM)
    • Virtual machine management using Microsoft Hyper-V 
    • Responsible for incremental and full Backup and recovery of critical data using Veritas Backup Exec.
    • Active Directory management; group policy creation and assignment; Microsoft Exchange management.
    • Maintaining a scalable and reliable SAN storage network

    Job Requirement

    • University Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline with at least a Second-Class Upper Division.
    • Relevant Microsoft and Cisco or equivalent professional qualification desirable
    • At least 3 years relevant IT experience.
    • Broad knowledge of current IT development and integration technologies and best practice.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

We are currently seeking Consultants and Senior Consultants to join our Strategy practice.

    Job Details

    • Work as part of a team to address complex market, strategic, operational and organisational issues
    • Develop business cases and implementation plans to underpin successful delivery
    • Lead work stream and analysis on engagements and take responsibility for small teams when required
    • Contribute to the delivery and presentation of client deliverables
    • Support client workshops and present insights and recommendations enabled by strategic thinking, technical knowledge, strong and clear communication skills
    • Work collaboratively with client staff and management, often working in joint teams in the development and delivery of recommendations
    • Support business development activity, showing initiative in building relationships with clients during engagements
    • Contribute to thought leadership and knowledge management to support practice development

    Requirements

    • A minimum of a Second Class Upper degree 
    • A Master’s degree is an added advantage
    • 3 - 6 years of experience in any of these areas: strategy, customer experience, digital transformation, operational transformation and financial management
    • Demonstrated ability to apply structured thinking, analysis techniques to complex and ambiguous problems 
    • Creative problem solving ability and inquisitive mindset
    • Intellectual curiosity and an ability to work independently; be comfortable developing answers and solutions often when the client requirement remains unclear, or changes
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Experience of exposure to project management is desirable
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Very good proficiency in PowerPoint and MS Office suite is essential
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
