    Medical Consultant

    Mission Objective

    • The medical consultant will work in the design and implementation of various research studies and projects at EHA Clinics. And through innovative research and collaborative partnerships, with the ultimate goal of improving research outcomes delivery. By integrating clinical expertise with cutting-edge research.

    Duties And Responsibilities   

     PURPOSE

    • Develop winning grant applications and study proposals after reviewing RFPs and background literature.
    • Prepare draft reports and high-quality manuscripts for publication in top-tier academic journals.
    • Identify and develop data collection strategies. Create, test and refine clinical study protocols, workflow and related training material based on best practices and cutting-edge science.
    • Provide clinical knowledge, perspectives and insights while preparing grant applications and project plans.

    ENGAGEMENT

    • Lead principal investigators in analyzing and interpreting results and writing discussion sections of manuscripts.
    • Work closely with intramural and extramural colleagues to identify new research topics and funding opportunities.
    • Meet with funders and investigators to prepare research implementation plans and protocols. Coordinate with external consultants as needed on projects.
    • Assist in the creation of social media posts and stories to increase the visibility of the department in the local and professional community. Conduct outreach activities at universities and other suitable organizations to solicit new projects and staff.

    DELIVERY

    • Introduce streamlined methodologies for documentation, evaluation, monitoring, and reporting to enhance delivery timeframes while remaining responsive to client needs.
    • Organize effective program monitoring ensuring delivery consistent with established timeframes.
    • Prepare informed consent and ethics committee applications. And analyze electronic medical record data.
    • Establish tools promoting the development and evolution of project outputs (proposals, reports, policy papers, concept notes, etc.) which ensure consistency in project outputs;

    Targeted Specialized Knowledge 

    • Bachelor's degree in medicine from a leading accredited university; a master's degree in public health, biological science or a similar field or post-graduate education in addition to the MBBS is preferred.
    • Authorship of peer-reviewed publications in high-quality journals is preferred.
    • Demonstrable experience applying sound scientific principles and practices to a wide range of research fields.
    • Excellent research experience.
    • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time as required.

    Pharmacist - Lagos

    MISSION OBJECTIVE

    • The pharmacy unit provides medical support services in pharmacotherapy, critical to achieving the organization’s mission through supplying quality medications, rational medicine usage, and optimizing patients’ treatment outcomes through appropriate counseling.
    • DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

     BASIC TRANSACTIONS PROCESS 

     PURPOSE

    • Provide effective medication use and become the people’s trusted ally against health issues that way, you can deliver maximum value to both the pharmacy and society. Review and develop the clinic's pharmacy policies and regulations.
    • Participate in voluntary community health activities to promote, maintain and restore health and prevent diseases. Manage clinical risk.
    • Provide professional advice on cosmetics or para-pharmaceuticals.

    INFORM

    ENGAGEMENT

    • Document patient and family education. Develop and implement the teaching plan utilizing the patient education manual. Think critically in adapting to change, judging situations, and taking appropriate decisions.
    • Adhere to EHA Clinics Code of Conduct as well as ethical standards of the field.
    • Interpret symptoms so that the patient can either be given immediate treatment for a trifling condition or be referred to the doctor. Protect patients and technicians by adhering to infection-control protocols. Provide emotional support and measures to alleviate fear and anxiety.
    • Provide pharmaceutical care services which may include, but are not limited to, patient needs assessment, age and disease-specific drug therapy and patient education, care adjustments based on patient response, and clinical interventions to identify, minimize, and avoid adverse drug reactions.

    BASIC INFORMATION ORGANIZATION

    DELIVERY

    • Prepare and dispense medications to patients on physician’s order. Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster.
    • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of the clinic drug formulary. Records of all drugs, doses, and prices on the automated inventory of the clinic. Review, analyze and respond to different situations encountered daily.
    • Review and execute physician’s prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality. Maintain full control over delivering, stocking, and labeling medicine and other products. Develop effective medication plans to minimize the risk of adverse side effects.
    • Maintain pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.

    TARGETED SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

    • Minimum qualification of Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy/M.Pharm/PharmD Minimum of two (2) years post NYSC progressive experience in Pharmacy within the private and public sector. Experience working with public health and health systems is an advantage.
    • Candidates must be a registered member of Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) with an up-to-date practicing license

    Operations Assistant - Lagos

    Mission Objective  

    • Clinical services operations department is responsible for the smooth running of the clinics, by providing support to the medical team to ensure the delivery of quality healthcare.
    • The operations assistant manages appointment schedules for both the patient and doctor ensuring that patient wait times are kept at the minimum. They also provide information about the services and products of the Clinics when visitors make an enquiries as well as handling patient billing.

    Duties And Responsibilities

    PURPOSE

    • Attends to patients at the clinic, triaging and classifying patients for optimal care create, update, and maintain low-level records and databases related to Odoo, EHA Care etc
    • Ensuring the smooth running of the clinical operation in the clinics thereby encouraging a high patient flow and adherence to schedules. 
    • Sales of clinical products such as membership packages e.t.c
    • Scheduling appointments and keeping track of patient wait time, Initiate prompt communication and reminders with patients on appointments through SMS, phone calls, emails etc

    ENGAGEMENT

    • Providing information about the services and products of the Clinics when visitors make an enquiry. 
    • Acts as liaison person between the patient and other departments. Resolving queries and requests from the patients to the laboratory, medical and pharmacy teams.
    • Act as liaison officers between HMO clients and EHA Clinics; confirming patient eligibility, seeking approvals, pre-authorizations and service coverage enquiries from the HMOs.

    DELIVERY

    • Patient billing management- receipt of payments from clients and HMOs via various payment methods not limited to cash payments, bank transfers, POS e.t.c 
    • Supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication
    • Accomplishing organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

    Targeted Specialized Knowledge 

    • Minimum of one year experience handling roles as a Personal Assistant, Front Desk Executive, and Customer Service in any reputable company. Bachelor’s degree or an OND in Business Administration, Office Management & Technology, Public Administration, Secretarial Studies, or any management-related field.
    • Remuneration: NGN 100, 000 Monthly Gross

    • Experience coordinating clinical trial projects or community research projects. Knowledge of good clinical practice will be an added advantage
    • A minimum of two years of experience as a research scientist in a national or international organization with demonstrable project coordination is essential. Basic project management certification from a reputable provider.
    • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills.   Strong computer skills, including Google Suite. Good documentation and analytical skills. Strong organisational and time-management skills.
    • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time as required.
