Job Summary

Our client a vibrant and progressive international secondary school that offers value based education located in Abuja is looking for an experienced English/ English Literature teacher to join their pool of talented team.

The ideal candidate will create a supportive learning environment which will help students meet their learning goals. Through interesting and diverse methods, the candidate will teach them the important rules of reading, writing, and speaking in English. He/she will oversee their progress by tracking their assignment and exam grades in order to provide useful feedback.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and provide instruction in English and English Literature that is aligned with Cambridge IGCSE curriculum and school standards to meet the varied learning styles and needs of students.
• Establish and maintain standards of students behavior required to run an orderly and productive classroom environment.
• Administer academic assessments for the purpose of evaluating student progress for the meeting academic learning targets and progress.
• Prepare and deliver lectures to students on topics such as poetry, novel structure.
• Develop and develop lessons plans that utilize a broad of appropriate teaching techniques and strategies.
• Oversee assigned classroom activities during school day as needed.
• Provide feedback based on workload and class behavior.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and administrators to foster a good student experience
• Inform parents about their children’s performance.

Requirements

• B.ed/BA in English Language/English Literature in education or relevant degree plus a Masters degree.
• At least 4 years of teaching Cambridge IGCSE and training students for IELTS.
• Minimum 4 years of teaching English and English literature using Cambridge curriculum.
• A proven ability to develop students academically.
• A good knowledge of various present-day teaching methods.
• A Patient and resilient personality.
• Exceptional organization and communication skills.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Telemarketer to be responsible for contacting potential customers telephonically and informing them of the company’s product and services. The Telemarketer will use a directory of contact numbers to phone individuals and read a scripted sales pitch to them.

To be a successful as a Telemarketer the ideal candidate must have a positive attitude and excellent telephone etiquette. The ideal Telemarketer will remain calm and professional under pressure and treat clients with respect.

Responsibilities

• Delivering scripted talks that describe the company’s products or services.
• Explaining products and product prices
• Answering customer information about products.
• Obtaining customer information such as name and address for shipping products or delivering services.
• Keeping track of customers that have been contacted and those who do not want to be contacted in the future.
• Following up on previous customers for potential sales.
• Maintaining records of customer contacts.
• Completing customer surveys to obtain information about potential customers.

Requirements

• A Bachelors degree from a recognized institution.
•  At least two years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Salary

N50000 per month.

Our client is seeking dynamic, dedicated, and experienced teachers of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to join their international teaching team. Successful applicants will teach ICT at Secondary school levels. The course of study follows the relevant Cambridge International Examinations Curriculum. Successful applicants will be suitably qualified and experienced, as well as being fully committed to supporting the development of students through curricular and extra-curricular activities.

Responsibilities

• Teaching ICT to students according to the requirements of the Cambridge International Examinations Curriculum.
• Preparing curriculum and lesson plans, and teaching materials for class instruction and activities.
• Adapting teaching methods, learning strategies, and instructional materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students.
• Conducting assessments of student attainment, monitoring student academic progress, and providing pertinent feedback.
• Establishing classroom expectations, observing and evaluating student performance, behaviors, social development, and health.
• Conferring with teachers, parents, or guardians to discuss student progress and to address behavioral or academic issues.
• Preparing and implementing remedial programs for students requiring extra help.
• Attending faculty meetings, professional development training, and school events.
• Planning and working on extracurricular activities such as clubs, academic contests, etc.
• Performing miscellaneous professional duties as assigned by the Principal/Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT, or any related degree in education plus a Master’s degree.
• Minimum 4 years teaching experience teaching IGCSE ICT in Secondary school settings.
• Experience of Cambridge International Examinations is desired.
• An enthusiasm to continue learning and improving own knowledge in computing and teaching.
