    Digital Marketing Specialist

    Primary Responsibility

    • Unlock social media as a growth engine by growing and engaging the Cowrywise community, as well as facilitating conversions via social media channels. Key objectives: Awareness, Engagement, Acquisition, and Retention.
    • Build awareness, brand equity, change perceptions, and execute social media strategies to drive growth.
    • Reach and nurture users, create and grow communities, and advocate through social channels (new, old, and emerging)

    Expectations

    • Rapidly assess, forecast, propose, and execute paid and organic social media campaigns that deliver leads and achieve performance goals for Cowrywise.
    • Own day-to-day hands-on social campaign management. Includes campaign planning, setup, creative development, quality assurance, testing, measurement/reporting, and optimization across a variety of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
    • Build and manage digital media plans, track budgets, and forecasts, evaluate and improve campaign effectiveness, and pinpoint new opportunities for growth and expansion.
    • Apply a highly analytical approach to our campaign planning and management; build hypotheses and test variables, optimize ad spend, and drive efficiency.
    • Design and build custom reports and data analyses, joining multiple datasets together when needed to gain valuable views of performance. Identify and articulate key insights and recommendations to the team and leadership.
    • Knowledge of design is a plus.
    • Research, trend, and report competitive market activities; keep pace with social media and apply learnings quickly to campaigns.
    • Collaborate with internal teams as needed to build and manage integrated campaigns, analyze results, and share learnings across channels and programs.

    What you’ll bring

    • 3+ years digital advertising, paid media, and campaign management experience.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, performance-focused media agency or business environment. Adept at handling new challenges and changes with ease.
    • A can-do, self-motivated, and performance-driven personality.
    • Hands-on experience building and managing multiple campaigns across various paid and social media and digital ad platforms.
    • Highly analytical, yet agile mindset; proven experience improving response rates, campaign ROAS, and program effectiveness through A/B testing, conversion optimisation, channel expansion, creative design, and more.
    • Ability to organise, trend and analyse large datasets with ease and accuracy. Knowledge of database fundamentals and data management best practices; adept at using advanced Excel functions – such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, nested formulas, conditional formatting, data delimiters, and various charts/graphs – to analyse performance and gain insights.
    • Experience with lead attribution, user tracking, and/or multi-touch measurement tools and methods to measure and optimize the effectiveness of funnel-aligned digital activities. Includes: pixel implementation, web analytics tools, site conversion event tracking, and more.
    • Detail-oriented with strong project management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects with ease, prioritizing when necessary. Skilled at using tools like Trello to manage tasks, coordinate across teams, track deliverables, and streamline processes for efficiency.
    • Excellent writing, communication, and visual presentation skills. Use data to derive insights and present information and proposals clearly to leaders, users, and partners.
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.

    • Engagement rate, share of voice, social conversion rate and tracking, post engagement rate, social referral traffic, page follower/audience growth, amplification rate, CTR, CAC, CPA, etc.

    Technical Investment Writer

    Job Summary

    • We are redefining the role of a content writer to fit our positioning as wealth experts. As such, we are looking for an individual with a unique set of skills to fill the role of a Technical Investment Writer, with a combined skillset of a growth marketer and an investment analyst, and an above-average understanding of using digital media to distribute content and engage investors.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with demonstrable creative writing skills, who can (1) engage (2) entertain and (3) educate investors with high-value content by making connections between finance, investments, macroeconomics, wealth, and culturally relevant issues (trend-jacking). In order to be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have to demonstrate research and analysis competence, as well as have a deep interest and understanding of the capital markets and the investment landscape both domestic and foreign.
    • The ideal candidate will be an interesting voice to sooth the ears of investors, will be able to drive home key points with data driven insights and communicate high conviction calls and investable insights in a clear, concise and digestible way. Asides writing, the candidate will also be involved in making live TV and radio appearances to discuss insightful investment topics, as well as speaking at relevant events.

    Teams Involved

    • The candidate will work with both the Portfolio Management Team and the Growth Team.

    Requirements

    • Finance or Economics background (B.Sc.), with added experiences in PR-related content and social media.
    • ​​Advanced understanding of investment products and strategies including fixed income, equities, mutual funds etc.
    • Awareness of investment industry trends, global financial markets, technology, and developments
    • 2-3 years of experience as a financial writer, content writer, investment research analyst, or a similar role
    • Excellent knowledge of digital media and other social media best practices
    • Communication skills, both written and verbal. Public speaking is an added advantage.
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • CFA Level 1 passed is a significant added advantage
