Position Summary:

• The Financial Controller will play a critical role in the consolidation and validation of financial reports, sitting at the HQ level to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across the organization. This individual will partner closely with the logistics team to optimize working capital and manage cash flows, driving precise financial insights and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Consolidation & Validation: Responsible for consolidating reports at the HQ level, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all submitted data.
• Month-End Close: Oversee and manage the monthly closing process, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements, ensuring timely completion.
• Cash Allocation & Intercompany Transfers: Ensure proper allocation of all cash inflows and outflows, handling intercompany transfers and allocations with precision.
• Cash Flow and Liquidity Management: Act as the gatekeeper for cash flow forecasts and liquidity planning, maintaining the financial health of the organization.
• Collaboration with Logistics: Lead and partner with logistics to optimize working capital, implementing strategies to enhance cash flow and operational efficiency.
• Team Guidance & Communication: Provide clear guidance to the accounting team during the month-end close, facilitating effective communication and problem-solving.
• Reporting to Executives: Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team, ensuring data-driven insights and strategic alignment.

Qualifications:

• Certification: ACCA or an equivalent Nigerian/international accounting certification.
• ERP Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Odoo, is an added advantage.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and reporting.
• Experience: Minimum 12+ years in a similar financial role, with experience reporting to executive leadership.
• Organizational Skills: Highly punctual and organized, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision, particularly in cash allocation and intercompany transactions.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to perform in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Leadership & Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of guiding and supporting the accounting team effectively, especially during the month-end close.
• Collaborative Approach: Proven ability to work cross-functionally, especially with logistics, to drive financial and operational efficiency

Job Brief

• We are looking for a Technical Drawing Teacher who is keen on aiding this Institution achieve its core goals of delivering quality education to its students and helping them build great and sustainable interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Planning, developing, and implementing technical drawing curriculum to meet learning goals.
• Ensure proper execution of lesson plans daily.
• Teach students the various topics included in technical drawing such as geometric constructions, building and engineering drawing, computer-aided drawing, etc.
• Provide extensive lesson notes for the students and present drawing demonstrations.
• Checking the student's notes regularly to ensure it's updated.
• Practice with the students in class.
• Ensure the availability of technical drawing materials and guide the students on how to use them.
• Maintain proper record of students' academic records
• Assign assignments to students.
• Grade tests and assignments of students.
• Create a positive learning environment to develop the interest of the students.
• Prepare the students for internal and external exams.

Skills and Qualifications

• A minimum of B.Ed Degree or B.Sc with PGDE certificate (or in view) in Building Technology and Technical Drawing, Engineering, Architecture, or any related field. A master's degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in both Cambridge and Nigerian Curriculum Possess in-depth knowledge of the core subject and skills to deliver knowledge to students.
• Good knowledge of and practical use of quality and seamless training/teaching methods.
• The candidate for this role is expected to possess great skills in drawing and construction.
• Good communication skills, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills with the ability to cooperate with other staff members.
• As a TD teacher, you should have the ability to work with students with different interests and capabilities.
• TRCN certificate will be an additional advantage.
