    Finance & Administration Manager

    The Finance & Administration Manager will be responsible for all financial and administration aspects of the project. These include project administration, financial reporting, financial accounting and budget management ensuring good value for money is achieved on the project. They will ensure compliance within the project of both the donor regulations and Malaria Consortium’s policies and processes.

    The successful candidate will have:

    • Qualified accountant in recognised global body, ACA or CIMA
    • Significant experience with 3-years in a financial management managerial position
    • Highly familiar with cost accounting standards and management of sub-contracts and sub-grants with partners
    • Past exposure and experience working on large scale projects and managing teams across multiple locations
    • Previous experience of providing data to evidence value for money on a project.

    Health Care Waste Manager

    The Manager – Waste Management will manage all medical related waste at health facility level and at community commodities for which Malaria Consortium is responsible for in Nigeria and will also maintain oversight of all commodities for which Malaria Consortium Nigeria is accountable for.

    The successful candidate will have:

    • Degree in Environmental or Medical Sciences or any other science course with master’s degree in any of these courses (Public Health, Environmental/Medical Sciences, any other relevant courses),
    • At least five (5) years of progressive experiences in HCWM;          
    • The postholder is expected to have previous experience in the preparation of HCWM technical instruments recognized by the World Bank, strong country knowledge and of World Bank safeguard policies, experience in hazardous/HCWM activities;            
    • At least five years’ experience in developing training manuals or other training documents for programs/projects funded by multilateral agencies specifically on hazardous/HCWM, working experience in Nigeria or developing country under similar condition;
    • Good technical and organizational background in performing hazardous/HCWM for programs/projects, and ability to cooperate and interact with stakeholders including facilitating meetings and workshops.
    • Good knowledge of the healthcare waste streams generated in Nigeria

    Logistics and Supply Chain Manager

    The Logistics and Supply Chain Manager will ensure effective pipeline and inventory management to enable on-time delivery at value for money of all commodities for which Malaria Consortium- is responsible, and avoid stock outs, with all documentation correctly completed and filed. The postholder will lead in the procurement of project medicines and commodities to be procured directly by Malaria Consortiums Global Procurement agent. Liaise with all procurement agents appointed by our donors for commodities to be used by Malaria Consortium- managed projects.

    The successful candidate will have:

    • Educated at a Bachelors level in relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience
    • Supply Chain and/or Procurement Qualification (e.g. Supply Chain Masters or CIPS)
    • Demonstrated success as a commodity manager within regional or national environment
    • Experienced in importing health commodities (including medical and nutrition supplies and pharmaceuticals) in
    • Strong knowledge of WHO Good Storage and Good Distribution Practices
    • Experience with managing pharmaceutical supply chain

    Project Director

    The Project Director will provide overall leadership to the IMPACT team and be responsible for managing the project activities. The position will be based in the country office, with regular travel within implementing locations at Lagos. It will support the IMPACT project team through providing managerial, technical support and direct implementation of LLIN campaign, Malaria case management, the community engagement and waste management.  The postholder will work closely with the country-level   Senior Management Team (SMT).

    The successful candidate will have:

    • Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Epidemiology, Public Health, Tropical Medicine, Parasitology or Equivalent);
    • At least 10 years of experience managing development projects, preferably in African countries with a strong focus on field implementation;
    • Experience managing projects with a mix of facility and community-based interventions is required
    • Experience managing projects with a focus on behavior change would be an asset
    • Demonstrated track-record with project management, monitoring and evaluation
    • Strong communication skills (oral and written) in English
    • Experience managing project / project budgets
