    Finance & Admin Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Finance & Admin Officer to support our daily financial operations and office administration in Nigeria. The ideal candidate should be able to handle accounting documentation, payment tracking, tax-related coordination, and general office administration efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities

    Finance Responsibilities

    • Prepare invoices, quotations, payment vouchers, and expense records
    • Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable
    • Coordinate customer payments and supplier payments
    • Maintain proper financial documentation and filing systems
    • Assist with VAT, WHT, and other tax-related documentation
    • Liaise with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies when necessary
    • Support monthly financial reporting and reconciliation
    • Track project-related expenses and operational costs

    Administrative Responsibilities

    • Manage office administration and daily operational support
    • Coordinate travel arrangements, hotel bookings, and logistics
    • Handle office procurement and inventory management
    • Support expatriate staff with administrative coordination
    • Maintain employee attendance and basic HR records
    • Coordinate meetings and maintain internal documentation
    • Support communication with local vendors and service providers

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
    • 2–5 years relevant working experience
    • Good understanding of Nigerian VAT and WHT processes
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting tools
    • Good communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
    • Experience in EPC, energy, solar, or engineering industry is an advantage

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience dealing with Nigerian banks and regulatory agencies
    • Familiarity with import/shipping documentation is a plus
    • Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality
    • Chinese company working experience is an advantage

    Public Sector & Institutional Relations Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    Institutional & Stakeholder Engagement

    • Act as the primary point of contact with:
    • Rural Electrification Agency (REA)
    • Nigeria Electrification Project (NEP)
    • Ministry of Power and related agencies
    • Development partners and technical consultants (World Bank, AfDB, EU, etc.)
    • Maintain regular, professional engagement through meetings, workshops, consultations, and sector events
    • Represent the company in public-sector discussions in a credible, neutral, and policy-aware manner

    Program & Policy Intelligence

    • Monitor and analyze:
    • Government energy programs
    • Donor-funded initiatives
    • Policy notes, concept notes, and draft frameworks
    • Track upcoming programs before formal tenders or RFPs are released
    • Provide internal briefings on:
    • Program objectives and funding structures
    • Key decision-makers and influencers
    • Technical and commercial implications for the company

    Public Positioning & PR Support

    • Support the company’s long-term positioning as a serious, committed partner in Nigeria’s energy transition
    • Coordinate participation in:
    • Stakeholder consultations
    • Technical workshops
    • Pilot or demonstration discussions
    • Ensure messaging aligns with public-sector expectations around:
    • Localization
    • Sustainability
    • Capacity building
    • Long-term engagement

    Internal Strategy & Advisory

    • Translate policy and institutional developments into clear internal insights
    • Advise management on:
    • Market direction and regulatory trends
    • Program risks and opportunities
    • Alignment between government priorities and company capabilities
    • Prepare concise internal memos, meeting summaries, and strategic notes

    Qualifications & Experience

    Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in: Public Policy Economics Energy / Power Systems International Development Engineering or related fields
    • 5–10 years of experience in one or more of the following:
    • Government agencies (energy or infrastructure related)
    • Donor-funded energy or infrastructure programs
    • Power sector consulting or policy research
    • Strong understanding of Nigeria’s power sector landscape
    • Experience engaging with public institutions and development partners
    • Excellent written and spoken English

    Preferred

    • Previous experience working with or within:
    • REA, NEP, Ministry of Power, or similar institutions
    • World Bank, AfDB, or donor-funded programs
    • Ability to interpret technical and policy documents
    • Familiarity with renewable energy, mini-grids, or energy storage projects
