    Field Operator

    Job Summary

    • To ensure safe and efficient operation of all associated Plant equipment and processes while communicating plant operational conditions to control room operators and Shift Team Leads.

    Key Roles & Responsibilities

    • Monitor plant running parameters and ensure steady running of plant within the desired parameters.
    • Operate and monitor the performance of process equipment in safe manner and ensure the availability of spare equipment for immediate use if required.
    • Communicate with control room / supervisors immediately in case of any parameter’s abnormalities noticed or process deviation noticed to ensure that accurate condition of field equipment is maintained.
    • Responsible for the starting/stopping of process units within defined operating parameters in the Plant
    • Verify actions taken by the Control Room Operator in the field
    • Preparation of operation reports.
    • Make authorized changes throughout the various plant units as necessary for safe and efficient plant operations
    • Maintain close communications with the control room operators and shift lead to ensure their awareness of all operational conditions both normal and abnormal throughout the Plant.
    • Perform duties of a first responder in emergency situations.

    Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required

    • Minimum OND or equivalent certifications, preferably in the sciences
    • Able to read and understand PFD, P&ID.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to display competence and improve on the skills relevant to plan operations.
    • Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions

    Control Room Operator

    Job Description

    • To ensure effective monitoring and controls of all CGP’s (Central Gathering Plants), compression, gas treating and production facilities

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor and control the plant efficiently and optimally to maximize the recovery of products and manage the correct delivery rate and specifications to residue sales points.
    • Demonstrate continuous effort to maintain safety, improve operations, and decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality, seamless plant operations.
    • Monitor in line chromatograph and ensure product is kept on spec by making adjustments as and when required, and report same to operations supervisors.
    • Review and update operating procedures as required by Process Safety Management.
    • Coordinate with the plant maintenance group in the repair of all compressors, engines and pumps. Work with technicians to perform scheduled checks of plant instrumentation and other equipment.
    • Controls Permits to Work and ensure Supervisor and maintenance technicians are aware of tasks, planned maintenance in progress.
    • Produce daily operations report, highlighting equipment and process faults compiled from Operators timely. Assist the team leader in preparation of monthly plant performance and Equipment run-hours, including availability statistics
    • Train other operators in the plant operation and teach the use of the HMI control system.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum HND education or equivalent Certification. Prior DCS training preferred.
    • 6 years’ progressive experience in gas plants and of which 3 years in similar role in operations or equivalent.
    • Mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and operational experience.
    • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
    • Must be knowledgeable of the plant processes (Cryogenic/Non-Cryogenic) and the DCS system.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safe rules, Material Safety Data Sheets, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to read and interpret P &ID
    • Ability to write routine reports, instructions, Management of Change (MOC) and correspondence.

    Production Operator

    Job Summary

    • To operate the integrated production system, ensuring that production and shipment targets are realized in a safe and efficient manner whilst maintaining operational integrity of the assets.

    Key Roles & Responsibilities

    • Ensure that all production assets are operated in a safe and efficient manner, in line with agreed plant operating philosophies, and in line with current Production Procedures and practices.

    LACT Operator

    Job Summary

    • To operate the LACT Unit to ensure accurate hydrocarbon delivery into third party manifold, safely and within agreed specification/manages the daily operability of the LACT.

    Key Roles & Responsibilities

    • To operate, maintain and carrying out daily checks on all the equipment on the LACT UNIT and prover Loop at specified intervals as may be determined ofthe company SOP
    • Hourly tracking and documentation of the Installed custody transfer meters, inline auto sampler. line pressures and other instruments on the LACT UNIT in other to ensure they are performing; at their optimal level.
    • Ensure Bi-hourly manual sampling and analysis of the pipeline crude oil sampfes and liaise with designated parties during control sample catching and storage
    • Catching of daily sample from the Auto sampler for analysis and resetting the auto sampler for a new day run
    • Preparation & computation of daily production report and transmitting them along with the computer printout from the control unit to designated parties.
    • First level Maintenance of Auto Sampler unit.
    • Responding and troubleshooting alarm signals from the control units and rectifying abnormal conditions
    • To oversee all operation and maintenance activities within the location and report to the maintenance and operation supervisor.
    • Provide regular and necessary feedback on all measurement issues at the LACT UNIT to designated authorities in other to ensure that the LACT UNIT is operated and maintained at 100% availability level.
    • Monitor and ensure the Lab Technologist carry out accurate monitoring of crude oil quality BS&W, API etc.
    • Support the metering engineers/vendors in keeping records of calibration changes, modifications and test equipment certificates on the LACT UNIT to ensure they comply with the government regulations always through scheduled

    Mechanical Technician

    Job Summary

    • To ensure implementation of an effective maintenance program for mechanical equipment/machines (rotatory and non rotatory) including vehicles.

    Key Roles & Responsibilities

    • To ensure that all vehicles at the flow station and drilling locations are well service and good working order.
    • To ensure daily monitoring of water systems at flowstion,Ovade Village, Amukpe Lact unit and all drilling locations
    • Carry out daily recording of parameters of all static and rotating equipment.
    • Carry out repair of pipelines in all locations.
    • Ensure that all generators at different field locations are serviced as due.
    • Daily/ monthly inventory of all equipment at field locations.

    E & I Engineer

    Job Summary

    • To facilitate and implementan effective maintenance program for all electrical and instrumentation systems related to the EPF operations

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Maintenance and repair of all electrical and instrumentation equipment in the plant.
    • Perform all E & I routine checks properly and document the processing plants and gathering system compressor sites.
    • Develop new control systems as required for safe operations
    • Test, maintain and modify existing systems for efficient plant operations
    • Fault diagnosis and repair of transmitter, pressure and flow gauges, emergency shutdown (ESD) systems, relief valves, control valves, P.D. meters, recorders and other control circuitry.
    • Analyse data and present findings in written reports;
    • Maintain work order status log summaries/database and provide equipment repair history
    • Review and analyze various operating data from SCADA, etc. to monitor operating efficiency and system pressures
    • Schedule and oversee system shut-downs for new well connections.
    • Work with maintenance support team in development/verification of system maps, piping designs & process flow diagrams, E&I diagrams, and P&ID’s for boosters.
    • Effect preventive/corrective and predictive maintenance of all instrumentation, electrical and control systems for EPF operations

    Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications

    Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

    Job Description

    • To provide technical service to support activities related to the operation, modification and maintenance of electrical & instrumentation systems associated with Company assets / vessels are fully operational to support production and shipment, including the operation of electrical distribution systems.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintenance of all electrical installations which include but not limited to alternators, control systems, electric motors, shutdown/control panels, electrically enunciated instruments, charging systems, pumps
    • Maintains service records and schedules for all equipment as required
    • To collate, prepare and keep list of spare parts needed for part inventory management and repairs
    • Fault analysis of power, distribution and control system
    • Maintenance of motorized control centre, power panels, switch gears, synchronizing panels, distribution boards and power supply cables
    • Overhaul of electrical equipment to include component replacements, alignments and calibration to specifications

    Instrumentation Engineer

    Job Summary

    • Supervises field staff that maintain and service Efe production facilities, including overseeing well testing and monitoring, pumps, storage facility and other associated equipment.

    Roles And Responsibilities

    • Supervises routine production and maintenance operations activities as directed by production manager/Facility lead
    • Monitor the plant risk and reliability management systems like Risk Based Inspection (RBI), Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM), and Instrument Protective Function (IPF).
    • Take requested samples for analyses, take and record field data requested for general monitoring of plant performance.
    • Perform periodic well integrity assurance tasks and activities (both well’s flowwetted and non-flow-wetted components).Ensure implementation of all planned, preventive, predictive and turnaround maintenance of rotating and non-rotating facilities.

    Lead Mechanical Engineer

    Job Summary

    • Design/ implementation of an effective maintenance program for mechanical equipment/machines at the Ovade Ogharefe Gas plant integrated gas gathering/recompression facility.

    Key Roles & Responsibilities

    • Prepare maintenance philosophies, specifications and work scopes for the following equipment:
    • 5LP compressors Waukesha 7044 engines driving Superior WH 64 compressors.
    • 6 IP compressors Waukesha 7044 engines driving Superior WH62 compressors.
    • 2 HP compressors CAT 3616 engines driving Superior WG74 compressors and 2 Sales gas compressors with same engine and compressor configuration as HP units.
    • Refridge compressor with CAT 3516 engine and Frick SGC 2817 Screw compressor. Plus associated equipment, Mole Seive unit, fin fan coolers and gas fired heaters.
    • Overhaul the above stated equipment type and model of engines and compressors as required
    • Generate critical spares and fluids required for smooth operation.
    • Diagnose mechanical faults via Cat ET and ESM
    • Document performance history for each equipment
    • Train, Coach and Mentor Pan Ocean’s staff.
    • Develop procedures for mechanical equipment testing, installation, commissioning and startup.
    • Witness and Monitor installation activities to ensure compliance with job specifications, functional performance, safety goals, and terms of contract
    • Analyze equipment failure modes, and root causes of failures. Must have a working knowledge of the tools and processes which support these activities. Lead identification, documentation, and resolution of warranty claims related to static equipment.
    • Supervise all fitting and welding activities using industry best practice.
    • Study and interpret P& ID’s, PFD’s and Isometric drawings for team use.
    • Generate periodic reports for management and external stakeholders.

    Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degee (B.Eng) in Mechanical Engineering with 5-10 years experience
    • Relevant technical qualifications and certifications in CAT & Waukesia engine maintenance
    • Extensive experience in upstream operations with significant experience in a supervisory capacity.
    • Understanding of and experience in gas production engineering.
    • Work experience in multidisciplinary teams & multicultural environment is a must. Previous work experience in Nigeria is a plus.
    • Very good understanding of oil and gas procedures and practices.
    • Experience in gas processing to include separation, dewatering and fiscal metering. Ability to work with operations personnel to resolve problems.
    • Excellent relationships skills.
    • Fluency in English (written/spoken).
    • Good PC capabilities.
