    Fiber Installation Support Technician

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist fiber installation teams with day-to-day deployment tasks
    • Run and pull fiber optic cables through ducts, trenches, and buildings
    • Lay and secure HDPE ducts and conduits
    • Remove interlocks and other physical obstructions on-site
    • Support thrust boring operations and other trenchless installation techniques
    • Perform physical groundwork as required during fiber deployments
    • Be on-call and readily available to respond to urgent assignments, including weekends and holidays
    • Ensure tools and materials are properly used, stored, and maintained
    • Follow all company and industry safety protocols during fieldwork
    • Coordinate effectively with the field supervisor and back office on deployment progress and issues

    Required Skills and Experience

    • Prior experience in fiber installation or civil works
    • Familiarity with tools and techniques used in cable pulling and duct installation
    • Good physical fitness and ability to work in challenging environments
    • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and readiness to work flexible hours
    • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
    • Must be reachable by phone and available to report to the field on short notice
    • Safety-conscious with knowledge of basic HSE practices

    Additional Requirements:

    • Must be a Nigerian citizen.
    • Physically fit and able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying environmental conditions.

    Credit Control - Account Receivable Officer

    Job Summary

    • A Credit Control Manager or Credit Manager or Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for managing a team that recovers unpaid debt / money / outstanding owed to the organisation. The debts may be from either business (commercial collection) or individuals (consumer collection).
    • The credit function plays a vital role in the finance department to ensure that invoices are paid on time to assist the organisation.

    Job Responsibilities
    The Credit Control Manager role will perform a wide range of duties and responsibilities. These may include, but are not limited to:

    • Managing a team of Credit Control Officers.
    • Formulation of the company's credit policy to mitigate unnecessary risk.
    • Reviewing credit applications and credit references to set credit limits and ensure credit worthiness.
    • Preparing journal entries, credit notes and assisting with month end.
    • Review and report on Aged Debtors.
    • Regularly meet and negotiate terms with third party debt collection agencies.
    • Manage write-offs, bad debt provisions and setting up of payment plans.
    • Assisting the broader accounts team.
    • Regularly reviewing the process and procedures to reduce debtor days.

    Skills and Attributes:
    The more common skills and attributes that are needed for this role may include:

    • Previous experience ofend-to-end credit controland accounts receivable processes.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in Credit and receivables and accounting domain.
    • Working knowledge of Credit law.
    • Staff management experience.
    • Accounting and reconciliation.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills especially during difficult customer negotiations.
    • Ability to build relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to multi-task.

    Field Engineer

    Key Responsibilities
    Installation and Configuration:

    • Attending to customer premises to install and configure ISP services, including internet connectivity, routers, modems, and other networking equipment.
    • Follow installation guidelines, technical specifications, and company procedures to ensure accurate setup and connectivity.
    • Test and verify the performance of installed services to ensure they meet the desired speed, reliability, and quality standards.
    • Educate customers on the proper use and maintenance of the installed equipment and services.

    • Collaborate with sales teams or account managers to gather customer feedback and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services.

    Quality Assurance and Compliance:

    • Ensure installations are completed according to company standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
    • Perform regular audits and quality checks on installed services to identify any deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
    • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to ISP installations to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or degree in a related field is a plus.
    • Proven experience in network installations, preferably within an ISP or telecommunications environment.
    • Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and equipment, such as routers, switches, modems, and cabling.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting network connectivity issues and resolving technical problems.
    • Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and network diagnostic tools.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a field environment.
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

    NOC Engineer

    Job Description

    • Perform general “system administration” tasks on all elements of the network
    • Discover problem areas which could negatively impact system performance or customer satisfaction
    • Pro‐actively monitor network and system performance.
    • Analyze traffic data and trends and escalate areas of concern to the network design authority.
    • Escalate problems to third level support (Problem management team) where these cannot be resolved within the Network Operations Centre (NOC).
