    Farm General Manager

    Job Description & Responsibilities
    Management Role:

    • Responsible for overseeing the entire poultry operations.
    • Direct the planning and managing of farm operations and handle farm business administration and marketing.
    • Plan, develop, and implements policies, procedures, and practices for operation of the Poultry farm to ensure compliance with industry standards.
    • Directs and coordinates, farm activities, for example feeding and production of chicks and eggs and growth of broiler.
    • Plan, coordinate, and direct various activities within production to achieve the set targets.
    • Manage farm financing, including negotiating loans, establishing relationships with purchasers.
    • Purchase needed farm equipment and supplies and consumables
    • maintaining and monitoring daily and weekly production records and presenting monthly performance reports to executive management.
    • Oversee routine production planning and execution of periodical, preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery such as Boilers, Pellet Press, etc
    • Submit innovative ideas to the top management for the continuous growth of the organization.

    Health & Environment:

    • Plan and manage safety and hygiene in factory premises.
    • Ensure all organic Poultry sanitation procedures are followed, to include the use of good quality of chick and broiler chicken.
    • Sterilizing and maintaining facilities and equipment and ensure disease prevention for good bird health.
    • Ensure standard ventilation guidelines for environmental closed houses in extreme whether condition.

    Operations:

    • Maintain high quality, healthy Poultry herds. Identify and respond to health, environmental and nutritional requirements of poultry Industry.
    • Handled routine Breeder, Broiler, Layer flock health maintenance program & established guidelines for Good Health Management, encompassing vaccination, medication, Disinfection & Bio-security program.
    • Ensure that birds are growing regularly using consistent techniques.
    • Supervising and following up on different types of vaccines methods like: vaccinating with spraying, drinking water, subcutaneous & intramuscular injection & its laboratory tests.
    • Maintained a high standard of poultry husbandry like Chick/Egg management, Growth Management, Ventilation, pre-processing management and nutrition.
    • Ensuring company guidelines & production standards pertaining to, Sanitation & disinfection of hatchery, broiler houses, layer & breeding farm.

    Qualification

    • First Degree in Social Sciences or Business Management Discipline.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in Poultry Farm Management.

    Requirements:

    • Effective people management skills
    • Knowledge of Environmental management.
    • Knowledge of different breeds of chicken and fowl.
    • Skilled in maintaining the health and hygiene of the birds.
    • Knowledge of optimum bird and fowl nutrition

    Chief Operating Officer

    Job Description & Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the day-to-day management of group and company operations.
    • Responsible for interfacing with the various HQ business units and Operating companies (OPCO) Managers.
    • Work with the board to develop strategic direction across the group and update the board regularly on progress and escalate critical business issues/risk.
    • Must be able to carry out board level communication and presentations to drive through propositions and issues.
    • Oversee the preparation of annual, quarterly and monthly OPEX and CAPEX budgets and ensure business runs optimally within approved budget.
    • Define and implement strategies and policies that will enhance operational efficiency and productivity across the business
    • Streamline existing business processes and ensure adherence by staff
    • Attend clients meetings for ongoing and prospective projects. Determine project requirements and assign staff.

    Education

    • Financial / commercial management exposure.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 20 years cumulative experience, 8 of which must have been in a managerial role (Preferably in Nigeria)

    Chief Security Officer

    Overview

    • With the growing needs of our company, the organization needs an individual who would be responsible for the security management of the organization, by using his knowledge, skills, and abilities to set the goals and objective that will ensure the efficient protection of the organization’s assets.
    • The successful candidate would be responsible for preparing daily incident reports, requisitions and other inter office memos and ensure that all allegations of the crime and other incidents are investigated and properly recorded. The CSO will act as an advisor in security matters to the CEO and must foster a culture of security importance throughout the organization.

    Job Description

    • Oversee and coordinate security efforts across the company.
    • Oversee all activities of the security management company at our facilities
    • Supervise and co-ordinate all security operatives, security supervisors and bouncers of the company.
    • Ensure security within the Group’s premises is maintained and updated.
    • Advise security team and conduct investigations of significant threats and loss or misappropriation of assets.
    • Conduct frequent security audits to identify potential problems related to physical security, staff safety and asset protection.
    • Record incident reports with detailed accounts of occurrences.
    • Create procedures for identifying and tracking threatening or fraudulent activities within the organisation.
    • Implement procedure to patrol internal building spaces and facility grounds to identify and deter threats to assets.
    • Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment and machinery to maximize coverage of parking lots and building interior and exterior.
    • Work independently and collaboratively to resolve urgent issues to protect lives and property.
    • Implement and enforce security policies to maintain safe environment.
    • Ensure that all security personnel provide services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction.
    • Organize weekly training for all security operatives.
    • Oversee and guide the efforts of the Fire and safety Committee
    • Establish crisis management and contingency planning
    • Prioritize security initiatives.
    • Maintain relationships with the Nigerian police, Lagos State Traffic Management
    • (LASTMA), Task Force and other related government agencies; and investigate all security breaches.

    Qualifications / Work Experience

    • A University Degree and a minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in corporate security/law enforcement/military is necessary for this role. Understanding of new technology for security management required. Fluency in English in both written and spoken and the capability to follow safety and security rules and procedures without compromises. Industry certifications and work experience will be an added advantage.
