Facility Manager (Convention Centre – Island) at Balmoral Group

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly competent and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of one of our premium convention centres located on the Island.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the facility remains fully functional, safe, and event-ready at all times, while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility
• Ensure the venue is fully prepared before, during, and after events
• Supervise cleaning, maintenance, and technical teams
• Manage and monitor all electrical, mechanical, and technical systems
• Identify and resolve facility faults and maintenance issues promptly
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and installations
• Ensure strict adherence to safety and operational standards
• Provide regular reports on facility condition and performance

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or related field
• Strong technical and electrical knowledge (very essential)
• Proven experience in facility management, operations, or maintenance
• Ability to supervise teams and enforce standards effectively
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• High level of responsibility, discipline, and attention to detail
